Daily Mindfulness Check-In December 04, 2021

🌱 Have you spent some time living life a bit slower than usual lately? Have you had a "me" time this week? What are some of the raw emotions and thoughts that pop up in your head?

As I write this post, I am sitting on my bed while bathing myself with the warm natural light of the sun. It has been cold lately since it is the month of December again. So, the warmth of the sun and cold breeze create a nostalgic feeling for me again. Plus, the silence of being alone without the need to rush anything or to be in class, work, training, or whatsoever, relaxes my soul on a spiritual level. Now, I feel a bit teary-eyed that this moment of silence is such a gift in our busy, chaotic lives. At the same time, I feel a bit refreshed and inspired to commit more to what I really wish to do for myself, not only to the things that other people expect from me. I know this is hard because this is something I really really struggle with, but I notice that whenever I spend some time for myself those little sparks in my heart would always return.
