Daily Mindfulness Check-In February 9, 2022
A wonderful Wednesday to everyone ❤️
Our today’s world is fast-paced and often we find ourselves in the hustle and bustle of things. We are used to instantaneous results and might find it difficult when the internet does not work or is slow, having to wait in a long line or waiting for a response from someone. Something that helped me with patience is when I have to wait on the phone for a longer time I force myself to stay on the phone and do deep breathing. Of course I would not stay forever but I would wait for about 15 minutes which was impossible for me years ago.

Hello Ami! Thank you for this great post! For me, I feel impatient about my life and growth. I want to excell in things that I do at a small amout of time which is not always realistic. What helps me calm down is knowing that I can walk and not only run in this life. Sometimes, just closing my eyes and listening to music or walking around would help.
The most patient person in my life is my boyfriend. He has been a rock in my life, helping me cope with my anxiety and insecurities. 💗

Life can become very busy and feel like a threadmill so reminding yourself to slow down sounds really good. Nice that you have that rock in your life.
Long lines and large crowds make me feel impatient. Deep breathing calms me. Also getting lost in my thoughts. Having conversions inside my head. My grandpa is the most patient person in my life because he keeps calm in stressful situations.

I can relate to long lines and also to deep breathing, it does help me too. I hope the conversations in your head are on the positive side. Your grandpa sounds like a great anchor to have in life.
I feel very impatient about the amount of blatant hate in the world. I feel calmer with my cats, and remembering that I can't change the entire world, but I can certainly make some sort of difference, and that's a great start.
My partner is probably the most patient person in my life. He'd wonderfully responsive, and a great listener.

A) I think what makes me feel quite impatient is when someone isn't punctual to meet up. What makes me feel calmer is giving them the benefit of the doubt and trusting that they wouldn't keep me waiting unless it was necessary.
B) Hmm... I don't think I could just one person! I would say that my friends are generally quite patient and that we do take the time to hear one another out.
