This is a very good question !
I learned a long time ago about self love from an old friend in a phone call conversation.
My friend was telling me :
-I see you love and care about everyone around you , is good , but how about loving yourself ? Do you put yourself first or everyone is a priority to you ?
My reaction over the phone back then was :
-Love myself ? What do you mean love myself ? Love myself ... 🤔 love myself ?
After we end the call the first thing I did was honestly ask myself Do I love myself ?
Of course I answered yes but I realized that my actions were saying otherwise , more like I was not loving myself enough and I was preoccupied how to care and love everyone around except myself .
That was my wake up call for I matter too , I am important too .
