Heya awesome Mindfulness people! I hope your day has been going well for you so far

Mindfulness, Music and Sounds 🎶

A lot of people find that listening to classical music, or calming music in general, helps them relax and be more aware. As someone who plays the guitar, I find that when I play I feel calmer and focused while I'm playing.

There are also a lot of compilations of calming music online. A simple Youtube search of 'meditation music' will leave you with a lot of options. This video is my personal favourite.

✨ Which sounds or music make you feel calmer, more relaxed and more aware? Feel free to share the link with us if you can laugh

Singing helps me calm down. There are studies that show the fact it is impoasible to feel anxiety while singing. I listen to all kinds of music (well almost anyway) and it depends on my mood what I listen to.The link is to music I listen to when I need to calm down. It's from a Swedish TV series, and the music is, to me, amazing. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=RD6r6-h22cfAU&feature=share&playnext=1

I like the sound of leaves rustling quietly. It lures me to mimic the same feeling and then calms me down.
