@amiablePeace77 Hi. I think my answer is actually the same for both. To hear someone, and to have someone hear me. To really be heard, like the other person truly cares and wants to know what you have to say. It's a powerful experience. I hope you are having a good day. Thankyou.
@amiablePeace77
Oh, this emcompases way too much to give single answers to both questions. I/we could not possbily pick a single thing for either question. It's endless. Love the topic and nice questions! Thanks Ami.
This made me think a lot lol. One thing that's coming to mind is something that happened way back in high school. I was in the cafeteria and there was this boy that I recognized in my band class who played the flute. He was sitting by himself so I decided to sit with him.
Some time later, I was sitting in the nurses office one day eating my lunch (which is a habit I ended up adopting for some reason and the nurses were all cool with it.). I was really upset and crying for a reason I don't remember. Well, that flute player just happened to walk by the open door of the office and noticed me. He stopped in the doorway and asked if I was okay. I was totally not expecting him to do that because we really didn't know each other that well. But I really appreciated it and sometimes think about his kindness from time to time. It was such a small thing that I keep remembering lol.
O I like this question! It kinda goes both ways. When I'm having a bad day and can't talk or really do much my best friend will just sit with me in the quiet. Doesn't force me to talk or do anything and it lets me be alone without being alone. In turn I try and show kindness and compassion to others! I listen and try and understand others!

What do you think was the best thing you ever did for someone else? What was the best thing someone else did for you?
I think the best thing I did for someone else was be there for them as a loved one is passing away. They did the same for me <3
thank you! @amiablePeace77 I hope you are well!
@raininglillies13
Nice that you gave but also received this support in such a hard time
@amiablePeace77
Thank you!!!! yes I wish everyone had support in hard times!!
<3
My mates took machine gun fire and were wounded, so I got on with it and saved them.
@Charley6R
That must have been so scary! You're a hero for saving them!
@amiablePeace77
Heya. Hope everyone is doing well
Umm.. Nice question I guess caring. Because when we care about someone they also start caring about ourselves💖
@LovetoGod
I think you got a good point, caring for someone makes them feel worthy.
@amiablePeace77
Yeah😊
That's really hard to say. I mean we never really know that value of our kinds acts. What to us might be a very simple thing, nothing at all really, could mean the world to someone else. I kind word, a helping hand at just the right moment, the hope inherent in one person reaching out to another.T
What was the best thing someone else did for you?
I think the best thing anyone could ever do for me is to be straight with me, be genuine. I value honesty.
Hello everyone,
I see that some things are common or similar. I think this is a big question. Even small things in my opinion could be huge to someone else or something huge could be small or insignificant.
I'm in a difficult marriage. I think I could just throw my hands up and say I'm finished. However, I know my husband is struggling with his own issues and I want him to know I love him and care about him as well as myself and our daughters. I am learning to set boundaries and practice assertive communication with him. I feel that choosing each day to stay and work on myself and support him as he finds his way (hopefully) to working on himself is a big thing I am doing for him and he is in his own way doing for me.
My parents were loving and suportive in healthy ways for me and my siblings. This is something they gave me that is to this day important to and for me.
Thank you and have a wonderful week.
@orangeTangerine2093
I'm so so sorry to hear that your marriage is difficult and hope things will get better with time. Setting boundaries and practicing assertive communication is important in any kind of relationship, nice you decided to learn and apply them. I believe that also self care is fundamental to keep you energized and calm. Sending you caring hugs.
Best thing I did for someone else was to help my ex boyfriend get his life/finances/confidence in gear. But this is what I think is the best thing I did, not what someone else thinks was the best thing I did.
Best thing someone else did for me was teach me independence to survive in the world. I had to layer on top of that learning how to thirve myself, so having the foundations in place made sense and was logical, a good starting ground to shape my life into what I want!
