Daily Mindfulness Check-In March 23, 2022
Hello everyone, today I wanted to check-in with everybody ❤️
In the last week I had a little misfortune and hurt my back, nothing big, just painful and I know it’s going to go away soon. The good thing is that my compassion meditation helps me to endure the pain in a better way and that my spirits are up. Something I’m grateful for is that otherwise many things are very good, I have a home, something to eat and my plants in the vegetable garden are growing well to mention just a few so there is much more on the good side than on the challenging side.
How about you? How have you been feeling lately, what is good and what are you grateful for?

@amiablePeace77 Salvation ! I hope you will heal quickly !!
A lot of bad, mostly having periods which is so annoying aand I ddon't kknow hhow ttol ive it better.
Then a lot of things that stress me out and overwhelm me, it's all kind of connected, I try to control and calm down but it doesn't really work
@butterlycow
Sorry to hear that your life is so stressful right now, hugs. Sometimes, the only thing that helps can be to focus on what you have control over and trying to accept the existence (for now) of what you can't control. This is a link to a self love meditation, good self care can go a long way when things are rough and we feel lost https://youtu.be/vrgLjLAG9mY ❤️
@amiablePeace77
Ok for now, but yesterday was stressful and I was projecting anger.
Need to work on relaxing my jaw.
@tulipMoth
Glad to hear that you feel better . I hope your jaws are more relaxed now as well. Anger can be very harmful to body and mind. Great that you want to work on it. This is a link for a brief muscle relaxation https://www.7cups.com/exercises/mindfulness578/
It can be quite helpful to make notes of the thoughts and feelings you experience when angry and about the factors contributed to your anger and how you responded to them and see if there’s any sort of pattern to your anger.
Hope the pain eases soon @amiablePeace77
My week has been mostly postivie, I've started biking to the library every morning and its made me feel more mindful. I've also started going on adventures too, once a week to explore the area I live in and spend more time outside and in the sun. Last week I found what looked like the pointiest hill in the world! It was very windy at the top but worth every minute!
I'm grateful for many things, especially my family and the safety they provide me. I'm also grateful to the library staff which let me use their facilities everyday.
Ami you just reminded me! I also have to plant my pumpkin seeds soon!

Hi Ami thank you for this check in. O dear on your back being hurt. I do understand you on this ever so well. Speedy recovery my friend❤️

I am as well recovering from a back injury from my client. Stressed my lower discs a bit. But I am thankful I am feeling much better and not taking no meds, just PT. I have been lacking motivation in my home. We are remodeling and redoing several rooms. All week I have done nothing to the house. Just work eat take care of animals sleep. Just started yesterday to get my kitchen table together and walls painted.
I am very thankful for everything I have been blessed with. My home. Water. Animals. All my plants. My kids continuing to go forward in their lives. Our health. Wow there is so much that is good around me to always uplift my most stubborn stages in life

I am starting to focus on the positive outcomes of life. I have changed a lot since I was a little child and I could not have done that like I did unless I went through some of the experiences I went through. It has been a good life when I focus on what went right.
Having a life is like going on vacation. You take a lot of pictures and when you get back you reflect on memories. It has been a good trip even with all the pain and suffering. And 7cups has been a great part of that journey. Thanks to everyone I have met at 7cups. You are all wonderful in your own way and I am just starting to appreciate that.
@soulsings
Wow Souls you gave my innards that "gust" of motivation. No joke. I really love when you share with us all as it is soft and flowing. I thank you for sharing with us❤️
@RumpleSteeleSkin thanks for your kind words.
Hope all is well in your world.
