Daily check-in December 15th to December 17th 2025
Definition of Body Trust: having the ability to listen to your body through the signals and needs your body wants.
Definition of Mind: having the ability to think and how to feel by listening to what your mind tells you.
When you trust your body and mind, you have a strong connection to yourself, physically and mentally. By having this trust, you enhance your well-being.
Understanding Body Trust:
Awareness: paying attention to physical signals your body gives you, such as hunger, fatigue, and stress. When you recognize this, you become able to help your body the way it needs.
Intuition: This is when you listen to your gut feeling, what your heart is telling you to do or not to do. Your intuition comes from various situations.
Building Mental Trust:
Mindfulness: Practicing mindfulness keeps you in the present state of body and mind. Mindfulness allows us to have clarity and reduce the stress we may be experiencing.
Self-Compassion: You need to treat yourself with kindness and acknowledge any mistakes you make, without being too harsh on yourself.
Practical steps:
Journal writing: When you write your feelings and thoughts down, it is easier for you to see what areas need improving. This will help reinforce our mental state of mind.
Physical Activities: Keeping busy like running, walking, going to the gym, help you enhance your body appearance. It will also boost your mood.
Challenges:
Having Doubts: It is normal to experience uncertainty. When you become aware of them, you are able to fix the challenges and continue on with your life.
External Influences: You will become aware of your social surroundings and know how to handle things which make you feel uncomfortable. Focus on your personal and experiences.
You need to focus on yourself because that is the number 1 person in your life, without you, you do not know how to be around others. You set boundaries to make sure you are not verbally and physically mistreated.
When you listen to your inner voice, it will lead you to wonderful things in life, let you know if something your about to do, may not be the right choice.

When do you find it hard to trust your body and mind? How can you fix that feeling?
Usually, I can trust body and mind quite well. Problems only arise when I am under unusual high stress, so I need to find ways to calm like meditation, positive self-talk and going for a walk.
