how to get a control out of life
Daily check-in for Febraurty 20th to February 22nd 2026
Life can surprise us at times. Sometimes in a good way and other times in challenging times. Most want to have control of how their life will be spent so you must set goals whether big or small, set boundaries of what we want and do not want in our life. We want our lives to go smoothly without hiccups.
We like it when our lives are stress- free, when other people respect our lives, and when your life is a pleasant environment to live in. Trying to be in control has some downfalls and perks, first our lives arfe an illusion. We see what we want it to be before acting on it. We can fool ourselves into thinking we have what we want in life but sometimes it does not go that way.
Everything in our lives is a big responsibility. We try to control thse around us in to letting ourselves live the life we want, rather than being told how to live it. Sooner or later, we see our life not going as we have planned. When our lives are out of control it can scare you into getting back that control because we do not know how to face certain situations.
We begiin to become stressed, some examples of stress is worrying about the what if's and the I wants. We may cry more than other times in life for no reason. You begin to have rapid heart beats when things do not go as planned.
Ways to calm ourselves down:
Sit back and reflect by ourselves: Sit back and look at what is not going our way and reflect on how you can fix it.
Meditate: Sometimes doing meditation can release our tension and bad feelings and help us gorund ourself into a more calmer person.
Spend time in nature: Spending time outdoors can relase our feelings and calm ourselves down.
Listening to music: Listening to our favorite music can release tensions we are feeling.
Exercising: exercising can calm our bodies and mind into a way we can then reflect on what needs to be fixed.
There are so many ways to relax that there is no right or worng way, it is how we ourselves see fit to relax. We are only human and at times we are all known to make mistakes and thatws okay. We all learn from our mistakes.

@pamharley003
Thank you for doing this post and giving us ways to calm down!
My favorite way is spending time in nature, going for a walk, or even meditating underneath a tree in the garden. What is your favorite way?
