@pamharley003 I really enjoyed reading this post and loved the inclusive of the image. Accepting change can be difficult, and as the image pointed out, can leave us feeling like there is no control.

I try to remind myself that change is inevitable, and take some time to process my emotions and feelings regarding the situation. I give myself time to process what's going on. It helps me to reframe my perspective on the particular change, taking time to be patient and set manageable goals.

As always, thank you for another insightful post, Pam. 💓

1. Yes I have made changes in my life that resulted in a positive change. When I was a teen, I wouldnt maintain a habit to journal everyday , but now that I am grown up, and though I find it difficult to journal everyday, I think journaling has helped me a lot in many ways. In regulating my emotions, in improving my memory of the various events of my life etc.

2. Accepting change can be quite tough and uncomfortable at the beginning. It can get very scary at times as you have mentioned. When change occurs in our lives, we often deal with many fears as well. I tell myself that it is going to be okay and that I will get through this.

Thank you for posting this.😃

@pamharley003

I love this thread pam, thank you for putting so much effort in it!

Have you made changes in your life that resulted in a positive change?

I had to make many changes in life. One of them was to live healthier and not to use any substances to drown my feelings. It helped me to focus on growing in life. This happened about 35 years ago and from there on I kept on trying to change what needs changing - still work in progress. Learning never ends.
