Doubt can hold you back with a lot of what if's and where do I go now, but mindfulness helps you come back to the present where your not worrying about the past or the future.  Mindfulness taches you to anchor on to your feelings and concerns without self-judgement. Trust maybe hard to do with others but we first need to trust ourselves before we trust anyone else.

Doubt has a relationship with mindfulness as one of the obstacles in mindfulness. Our trust in ourselves can be hard when trying to trust others who have done you wrong. How can you trust someone else when you have a hard time trusting the decisions your making to trust others.

The following are was to build your self-trust:

Micro-Promise exercise: Promise yourself one tiny thing you will trust yourself with each morning. Begin with small steps than proceed to larger ones. ex: taking small breathes when thinking of something or making your bed every morning before leaving the house.

Body Anchoring: When you begin thinking of the "what if's ", shuift your negaative anxiety to a positive affirmation like- " I will do good at my presentation at work today", just remeber to breathe in between paragraphs.

Doubt your Doubts: remember that doubts are rarely the truth, acknowleged that "The nervousness is speaking in front of everyone at the presentation", and go with the flow. show up and present it with confidence.

Breath & Hand placements: cross your hands over your stomach and present the project your wanting to give, cross your fingers in a praying wai down in front of your middle sections, inhale slowly so your not rushing anything and speak with confidence.

Self-trust is built through consistency and compassion. It is okay to be nervous but with practice you can overcome all obstacles in your path of life. You need to just work at breathing and handling a positive compsure so others can see how trust-worthy you are.

@pamharley003

I challenge myself regularly with difficult things. It helps me to gain confidence and trust in myself that I will manage no matter what. It's not always easy, but to me, it's the only way to grow.

I don't give trust to people that don't deserve it and if they break it, for me it can't be repaired 💚

@Amanda84

I agree, they can apologize all they want but the walls go up when their around me as I can not be taken for granted too many times.
