Mindfulness and dealing with Life
Mindfulness is being fully present and giving it our all in the present moment. we may be surprised when our minds wonder through out the day. When we practice mindfulness we are controling those wondering thoughts.
Mindfulness practices helps us reduce anxiety, increase our mental focus, boost our immunity and build a resilience to stress. Practising mindfulness helps us have a calmer and healthier life. There are three ways to practice mindfulness they are:
Simple meditation: ficusing on our breathing by sitting in a chair back sttraight or cross-legged on the floor. Focus on our breathing and how calm it is by inhaling through our nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Open awareness: this is where we are in the present and participate in special moments by bringing the sensations whether physciallyor emotionally to our bodies.once we are aware of our surroundings bring in sounds, sensations and ideas. Embrace and consider each without judgement.
Body awareness: another way for us to practice mindfulness by focusing our attention to thoughts, objects and sensations.

How do you practise mindfulness and does it work with you?
Do you have mindfulness caring kits that help you?

I listen to calming music. Yes, it works with me.
My mindfulness caring kit consists of gratitude journaling, listening to music, feeling the sunshine on my skin( gives me vitamin D ).
@pamharley003 such a helpful post, thanks for sharing 💜🥰
I do each of the mindfulness exercises all except for the bath meditation as I’m not allowed to do baths with no one present due to epilepsy and doctors warned as it can cause drowning if a seizure occurs.
