Mindfulness when dealing with life
Daily Check-In July 21st to July 23rd 2025
We live in a world where we struggle and sometimes stress happens. It is never pleasant when we are stressful because we begin not to think correctly, our heart rate rises, we begin to make mistake and a number of other things.
The upside of stress is that it helps us stay motivated to continue on with life. Everyone handles stress differently. We can not avoid it ,it will show up at any time in our day, but learning how to handle stress can help us move on to a calmer life.
We begin to recognize what or who made us feel stressed. We begin to look at it in all angles and work a way to resolve that stress so we can move on. We could do breathing exercises where we breathe in and exhaleto lower are nerves and heart rate.
We can also begin to do yoga or meditate and work at releasing the tension are experiencing. When we learn to relax we are teaching ourselves we can overcome it and move on. Mindfulness keeps us in the now where we are able to relax.
We can incoporate mindfulness any time of the day or at night before bed, there is no set time to do it, we just do it when we need it. Mindfulness is bringing us to the present and letting go of anger, stress, disappointment and so on. We can begin making better choices, eating right, exercises the right way it is simple as walking just need to put your mind to it.
Some examples of mindfulness are:
Mindfulness meditation- we begin to use yoga or just sitting in our chairs andrelaxing our mind and body. Setting a time aside for you to use this as an exercise for yourself.
Mindful breathing: We learn how to breathe in and out slowly where we are relaixing our minds and body to release tension out of our bodies.
Visualization: When we are doing yoga or meditating we visualize a happy place for ourselves, it can be in the mountains in the winter or on a beach in the summer.
Mindful movement: When we are doing yoga or tai chi ( which I am learning ) we are using body movement and concentrating on how relaxed we are becomming.
Journaling: I believe a lot of people including myself love to journal. When I journal even about the smallest things I am letting my words flow out on paper. It helps us learn what our day was like, mistakes we may of made and how to fix them.
Mindfulness can be practiced by observing our thoughts and feelings. We are able to close in on what is wrong and implament ways to fix them. We also learn to how to stay in the present the now in our lives rather than the past.

when you are done practicing mindfulness how do you feel ?
Can you use mindfulness everyday or just when it is needed

@pamharley003 Thanks for doing this check in for the community! ☆♡ I know I should practice mindfulness daily, but I don't. However, when I do, I notice that my mood is better. It doesn't take my stress or anxiety away, but it at least improves my mood in that moment where I feel more positive. That's good enough for me. 😀

My emotions are exhausting me this week, I'm so tired, but it's a emotional pain, a different type of tired, mindfulness might be what I need 💜💕
