I am torn here, because:

1. As a fan of Astronomy, I believe it is neutral and just exists. How it treats us is based on its own laws and how we act.

2. As a fan of scifi, I want to believe it (referring to aliens instead of the universe itself) to be like humanity. Some good, some bad. A part of me likes thinking about speculative biology and learning about alien cultures/tech, but the Halo-loving side is excited by the idea of humans not fighting among themselves to fight aliens.

Actually, I was noticing recently that I have a bias toward thinking the world’s a little hostile. I saw it in how I made the narratives around why certain things were happening. I’m taking my time to explore that more these days.

What were the odds that such a relevant quote would get shared on my feed at just the right time that I’d see it! 🤯🧘🏾

I'm in this struggle as we speak. I. Schizophrenic and im flipping back and forth on this.

I feel like the less pain and negativity the easier it is to see the good in the world lol
