The small choices we make affect who we become.

Who do we think we are , how we perceive ourselves.  Sometimes we think its hard for us to do certain thing, such as socializing, and we choose an activity that furthers keeps us away from becoming sociable, like staying watching series at home instead of going outside and being in a cafe or in the gym, etc.

I had done too many alone activities, making me more isolated in how i was going about my life, now trying to revert this, sometimes for me might be ok to have some time alone, but i think it would be nice to have company sometimes, so trying to see how to change this is important, thanks for reading.

@okeyyyy Hi there,

Thank you for your honesty.

Whilst it is ok to want time alone it upsets me that you find your time spent alone is impacting on you negatively. You might want to ask yourself what stops you from doing less solitary activities

- Is it that you feel shy? Unloved? Unwanted? Past trauma?

- Lack of common interests in friendship groups?

- Sensory Issues?

I wonder how you feel towards joining face to face clubs were the environment is sensory friendly?

You might enjoy places with autistic staff being likely better to accomodate for you and your comforts - see article below:

I wish you all the best and to keep going.

shy, to a point yes, but too stuck in my thoughts, got used to doing solo activities, maybe its about building new habits or activities, i personally its easier to get better at solo activities. past traumas, yes.

- Lack of common interests in friendship groups?

Not really, i had done many activities, it might be good to do group activities too :)

- Sensory Issues?

I used to think yes cause i have mild autism , like bothered by noises, but then again, dueling on being bothered by noises can become an excuse to stay comfortable on the place of not overcoming it, or dueling too much on it, while there are ways of doing it such as focusing on the tasks i need to do , or one something bothers you if you focus more than you should it just becomes worst, so minimizing it by finding inner copying mechanisms such  as deviating the attention, etc.

the main face to face activities i do is gym, but is mainly solo. lol, i tried some dances, but the main issue i find is the lack of good teaching, were i see they dont teach in progressive manners , but i could try other group activities i would like to, maybe acting, or extra in casting for tv, or model or something :)

I am not sure if to be looked down on can help me learn how to become better but to feel as if i am just lesser., while I do have to see ways to improving myself, like i have this tendency of learning too many skills and then being overload with information and overthink, now less than what it used to be , way less, but still, although i still struggle to fit in socially .

thanks so much, so super kind of you. yay
