Definition of mindful living:  living in the present state of life. This allows you to pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, sensations, and surroundings without judging yourself.

Mindfulness is not just an exercise; it is being fully aware of your surroundings in the present moment. It allows you to notice every detail that occurs day to day. Mindfulness is known to reduce anxiety, stress, improve your focusing, and supporting health to your heart. Mindfulness makes you a happier person.

The mechanism behind mindfulness helps increase the part of your brain responsible for executive decision making, reason, and concentration. It also is a cognitive and emotional functioning that makes mindfulness a powerful tool.

Areas that improve cognitive functioning:

PTSD

chronic pain

eating disorders

anger management

depression relapses

weight management

low sex drive in women

When you practice mindfulness every minute of your life is to relieve tension, anxiety, and stress. Even if you do 10 minutes twice a day can help relieve these symptoms. It just takes practice.

Not long got home from my daily treadmill run. Today's was an hour of 4 min gentle run with 1 min walk intervals, effectively 12 sets of 4 minutes breath meditation. Exercise has always been a form of therapy for me, often calms my mind.

Love the nickname. I try to do mindfulness in the morning and before bedtime to help me relax and sleep better. I am now taking physical therapy for ankle surgery 3 months ago i in my daily exercise and weight lifting at home I try my best to do 30-45 minutes a day, I have to be carfeful because I suffer from vertigo so some exercises irrate it.

How do you keep mindful in your daily activities?

I try to stay present with everything I do. It does not work out all the time, sometimes my mind leaves into the past or future, so I have to call it back, but this is a mindful exercise too and does not worry me.
