Self-Discoveries
What’s something new you’ve learned about yourself in the last three months?

@zealousGrace5023 thank you Soo much ....I appreciate your kind words ......I need friends and people to understand me and support me and encourage me and just love me .....I am so broken and scared and mentally and emotionally not well dealing with my anxiety and severe depression and PTSD as well....things are so scary and it's hard to deal with all of this alone without support and family and people that care about me ....I have one family member left and not really any friends to talk to ...this breaks my heart even more than it's already broken
@Kikiloosue oh dear... loneliness can be tough. I hope that you can find some friends who can really accept you for who you are. What do you think are some ways for you to meet new people, especially potential friends? :)
@crang17 thank you sooo much
..this feeling of loneliness and sadness is so overwhelming...I lost everything ....and don't know how to fix any of it right now..... feeling hopeless and scared to death and utterly alone.....missing my home of ten years and the love of my life and my animals and just having a place to call my home.....
@Kikiloosue Everything you shared really makes sense of what you are feeling right now. We are always here for you if you want to talk to someone. <3 Otherwise, this quote always helps me when I feel sad: "When a door closes, a new door opens.". It might not be immediately but somehow, when we start opening ourselves to new things in life and breaking away from the past, we would find the new door opening for us. Hugs dear!
@crang17 thank you sooo much ....I appreciate you ...I always need someone to talk too...I am really struggling right now and feeling hopeless and scared and don't know what to do....I have no home , no car , no job and lost everything my ten year relationship .....I am lost without him ...I have been mentally struggling with my anxiety ,severe depression and panic attacks and PTSD as well ...I went to my doctor and she literally asked me questions and wrote me prescriptions for all kinds of medications and she literally was looking out the window the whole time we had our appointment ....she just wanted to give me pills not help me....I don't want to become dependent on all those pills .....I am so scared at the time and don't know how much more I can take ....
That i left worthless one way or another, because my Father had died when I was only 4, and without getting the proper counselling - I thought that he must've left me because I wasn't really worthy of his presence, or that I must've been a bad kid or something like that. I thought he might return. I was too young to understand death.
But now that I've processed it, I feel a little better about myself. Ego state therapy is an amazing therapeutic intervention for inner child healing, I highly recommend it.
@intellectualBeing2393 you've done such a wonderful thing for yourself! Kudos for finally healing. 💚
@zealousGrace5023
@zealousGrace5023
self esteem is based on external factors.
I find safety in toxic relationships and get anxious in healthy relationships and push people away.
i don’t look at the positive aspects of myself and my journey
I've learned what my shadow self is. I listed 5 positive traits and my shadow self is the opposite. Our shadow selves are usually the negative traits we try to hide and ignore, but exist in our subconscious. I'm learning to accept those negative traits.
@sailormoon97 this is really interesting. I am now thinking of doing it as well. Thank you for the idea!! 💚Hope being able to identify helps you a lot.
@zealousGrace5023
I think I've learned that I'm a much rather more reserved person than I actually am. I thought I was quite more extroverted and talkative but I realized I much rather be at home doing some work with some coffee sometimes haha.
@sunnyWriting4806 I know some people who are also like you. Somehow, we all have a different level of extroverted-ness and introvert-ness. XD Kinda complex to think about but nice that you have learned something new for yourself!! 💚
@crang17
I totally agree with you! I think I'm a mix of introverted-ness and extroverted-ness and it depends in various situations I find myself in. Learning more about myself is definitely a good thing though!
I’ve learned that I need to allow myself time
for me also and if I do have me time it doesn’t mean I am
taking time away from being there for someone else.
@Margiewm me-time is very important and healing. 💚
I think it would be that I’m heartbroken. I have people who claim to love me yet I feel alone. Reassurance and gestures of love are things I see in a skeptical way. I don’t trust it. I’m trying to learn how to fight back against this “demon” in my mind.
@purrwalker i dont know sometimes it can be our minds skewed way of trying protect us
working on believing that you are safe and that you'll be okay can help
