By the time I stepped outside the leave were lush and beautiful. I gathered up the fresh-picked leaves and rinsed the dust/dirt off of them in a gentle stream of water, then I shook off the excess water. At that was done, I dried off the moisture of the leaves by placing two pieces of paper towel on the counter and placing the wet leaves on top. But then sadly I got impatient and placed a small amount of the partially dry leaves in the microwave for 30 seconds until they became brittle. Finally, I boiled some water in a kettle, poured the water inside a sturdy mug, added the brittle leaves, and I made tea.

I instinctively stepped backward, an instinct built by years of mistrust. Then, reminding myself of how rude I must seem, I stepped forwards and planted a smile on my face.

That smile on my face seemed to have sent an enormous amount of positive energy into the atmosphere because suddenly I felt this surge of warm rays engulf me It was as though I was seeing through new eyes all the glorious wonders around me.

Crisp and dancing in the wind. They twirled and spinned and put on a sort of nature ballet only ever held in the months of early autumn. As they led in their descent, they kissed the ground beneath them. Being up in the air for a whole year, they were ready to meet the sweet, sweet November land. As the sweet November land and autumn leaves met, they embraced each other and i was the witness of this magnificent scenery. They twirled and spinned and put on a sort of nature ballet only ever held in the months of early autumn. Playful and mischievous they dance to the ground, hiding the freshly fallen pecans.

The rake in the old gentleman's hands caught my eye, and I ask is this an old family heirloom passed down through the years? He replied with an uplifted voice that radiated a sense of sheer pride. This was my Great Grandfathers rake.
@scarletPear1945 The last golden specs of sun shone on him , he glowed like a star . The rake in his hands was jagged diagonal it was strong but the surface of rake was worn out .
