Mindfulness Daily Check-In September 11, 2017
Hello Hello ! Welcome to another new week of our life !
How are you everyone?
Do you know that our mind is like any other part of your being, there are benefits from understanding how it works and we can train it to work better. Specifically a mindfulness practice has the following benefits:
1. Stability of mind – maintaining our mind in an alert clear space rather than at the two extremes of a dull or agitated mind.
2. Flexibility of mind – the ability to shift our mind to whatever object you choose, rather than having it bounce haphazardly between a number of issues
3. Self awareness – being aware of the contents of our mind and understanding the typical patterns of our mind
4. Acting rather than reacting – Becoming less reactive, e.g. when we are angry and choosing how we will act.
Now share with us:
a. Which of the benefits did you experience by practicing mindfulness? How did that impact your life?
b. Have you experienced any other benefit apart from these four by practicing mindfulness? Would you like to share with us?

@SunFern
Hiya Sunnie thank you for this great check-in
Which of the benefits did you experience by practicing mindfulness? How did that impact your life?
#4 as I sometimes do over react on small things, don't let my brain process things as they should
Have you experienced any other benefit apart from these four by practicing mindfulness? Would you like to share with us?
I have learned to gather all facts in a situation, yes be mindful of my thoughts and feelings-but don't REACT to how I'm feeling
@RumpleSteeleSkin
that's wonderful. not to be reactive, rather staying assertive is a great skill. and a very important one too. many times we convey the wrong message about ourselves or a situation by being reactive. I am glad that you have been on the path of being thoughtful on your acts. this is really, really great.
@SunFern
SunFern, since i practise mindfullness i became calmer, not acting so fast but waiting what will happen. Mindfullness built a kind of puffer around me to reduce the strength of possible negative vipes and allows me also to step into a place of total harmony if required. i became more conscious of the good things in my life, that i am alive, i do not suffer from hunger, have somewhere to sleep and most of all a loved one.
@SunFern
Hey Fern! I appreciate you for sharing such an amazing check in! Wonderful!.
As you see, I am practicing mindfulness from a long time and I experiences all the 4 benefits you shared here. Being mindful actually allow you to understand rather than to give a quick reply. It gives your thought process a clarity and allow you to understand yourself and your needs.
What I experienced broadly covered in these 4 points! So, I don't think I need to mention chunks of it! Or maybe could do in future!
