Mindfulness Daily Check-in 13th February 2019
Todays check-in has been inspired by a beautiful Jacaranda scent that I bought today. It has such a beautiful scent and look at how beautiful it actually looks!
I wanted to do a quick mindfulness visualisation with you all today.... make sure you're sitting comfortably! Look at the picture, what do you see? What do the colours make you think of? Can you smell the flowers of the tree as you're walking along the pavement... what do they smell like?
I hope you can take something positive from this visualisation and perhaps do it when you next go outside and absorb everything around you!
@LisaDeRegtMBPsS Lovely check in! I actually have a Jacaranda tree in my backyard, so I immediately thought of it when I saw the image above. It brings back memories of me raking the flowers when I was younger. Thus, the colors remind me of childhood and innocence. The smell is soothing.

How fortunate are you to have one of these in your garden! Wow :) They are so beautiful and I do not think I've actually seen one before. I have heard the scent of their flowers is good for a mind that is busy and you're right, it's so soothing the smell!

I can see myself walking along the road with a smile on my face, inhaling the beautiful scent of the Jacaranda, absorbing the positivity of the scenery with a feeling of exitement and motivation, somehow like a new day a new start.

Oh wow Lisa I so can literally smell these wonderful flowers. My mind goes back to when they come out and how the front yard smells. When they fall how beuatiful the world looks. Winter needs to go bye bye!!!
