Kinda late to the thread but oh well ^^

My goal is honestly take care of my mental health. Today was my first appointment in the psychologist. I'm happy I'm finally getting help so I want to enjoy it as much as possible

My goal is to spend more time cleaning. When my mental health is in decline this is usually one of the first things to fall by the wayside and I'm slowly feeling motivated to change that. A clean and uncluttered living space makes me feel more positive and accomplished and that's why I'm making it a goal.

@iwasntborntofade89 I feel the same way, but I have tried to let myself accept some mess. I live with a messy person, so I can't control what he does and I don't want to clean up after every mess he makes. When I'm feeling really stressed about the house, but I don't feel motivated, I tackle one area that really bothers me like the kitchen or the living room. It's amazing what a difference just wiping down the counters or fluffing up the couch can make.

@ASilentObserver

My goal is to become more independent. I want to find a stable job with benefits and be able to afford enough to get my own place. Trying to adult is hard when you have no motivation. I'm working on it.

@Catlover1993 I get you. Adulting is tough, but the rewards of independence are immense!

@Catlover1993

Same here! Independence is very empowering! Although learning to live on your own and making big decisions is never easy, but we become stronger and smarter when we go out there and experience things!

My goal right not is to stop dwelling on past events and stop looking toward the future in fear and anxiety. My goal is to be present and have presence.

@ASilentObserver Hi Obs! :) A goal that I have planned and am in the process of achieving at the moment is to complete my CV and select one (or two) writing samples for a possible internship opportunity once I begin my Master's program. It will add value to my life by allowing me to gain experience specifically in my field, which is quite difficult as this area within my field is still developing.

Unplug my devices and put away my screens before bed. Im more inclined to practice mindfulness when I do this.
