@Ritz012345 Hey there. May I ask what you mean by "eat food properly"?

Now, I'm just a mom and both my kids are way out of the toddler stage, but I do remember this.

Sometimes little kids are so full of energy and all they want to do is play. I know when mine were little, they would have times where they wouldn't care about food or eating because they were too busy having fun. Here's where little gentle reminders come in that play time is paused to eat and get more energy and then after play time can continue. 😀

And even then, sometimes kids still won't want to it. Sometimes they genuine don't like the food but you can still offer it made in different ways, sometimes they just aren't hungry so it's important to keep them hydrated, and sometimes they just want to see how far they can go and do their own thing. Not everyone is on a different eating schedule. We all aren't hungry at the same time or thirsty. If you're toddler is refusing to eat, then maybe have that talk with their pediatrician to see what's "normal" and what's cause for concern. Hope your toddler is doing well otherwise and is happy, healthy, and thriving! 😀 Good luck!

Hi @Ritz012345! I thought about your post, and about my own toddler. Sometimes he doesn't eat the way I expect him to. He sometimes barely eats and goes to bed early. I think it's related to growth. Also, toddlers can be very picky, and sometimes they just want snacks. At least, that's true with my toddler.
