Frustrated with my process

I have such a hard time keeping consistency in my therapy work. I'll be able to keep my good habits - journaling, therapy work, taking meds - for a few days, maybe a week at a time and then I miss one day and its all back to square one for weeks. I'm tired of constantly starting over but no matter what I try I can't seem to find something that sticks.

@ambitiousJet302

I'm proud of you for trying.

For asking for help

For being honest.

And vulnerable.

It's not easy and we often get setbacks but the inspiring thing about you, is you get up and go again, that's what counts the most 🤗🩵

I can honestly say I know what you're talking about. In my struggle to figure out the solution to this mystery, I've developed several techniques over the last couple of years but I think my most grounding technique is the thing that I called for myself, "My Core Balance Chores"

I won't bore you with the details but I'll try to share the intention and maybe the idea of it can help you do not get so discouraged.

By the way, do not get so discouraged. What you're doing and your struggle and that you keep doing it it's an amazing affirmation to your strength and determination. You really are never ever back at Ground Zero. It may feel like you are, but you are not. Every stage of the struggle, you gain a little bit and when you are starting over, you are starting over with a little bit more than what you had before. I know it doesn't feel like it but I think that's pretty true And so the more that you start over the closer you get to getting it. Stay at it and know you are getting stronger at every regroup.💖.

My core balance chore concept is just about hanging on to some sense of rhythm. It's a list of the simplest things that need to be done on a daily basis. And I stay on that list, even if it takes me a week. I get my core balance chores done. And when I can't seem to do anything else for one reason or another, I'm starting over and nothing seems to be going right, my repetitive core balance chores help keep me focused and balanced. And I seem to have an easier time moving forward beyond those.

Regardless of how you do it, Do not let your discouragement, Discourage you, completely. From your post I know you're trying, With sincerity and intensity. I know that you can do this. Stay at it.
