I’ve started noticing that most of the battle happens before I even begin.

It’s not the workout, the studying, or the drawing that’s difficult. It’s the conversation I have with myself beforehand. Somehow five minutes can turn into “I’ll do it tomorrow,” and tomorrow turns into next week.

Once I actually start, it’s almost never as bad as I imagined.

I’m beginning to think motivation isn’t what gets us moving. Maybe movement is what creates motivation.

Hello and I totally agree with you! We tend to talk ourselves out of the activity very easily. It's taking those first steps and getting out the door or starting a chore or activity that are difficult. Once we get there it's like oh this isn't so bad! Just know you're not alone in this,🤗💜🫶
