Prequel to Summer Reading!
A lot of libraries do summer reading programs, where you win prizes for reading books! How cool is that??? <3
At least in my area, they all seem to start around June 1st.
So, let’s start revving up for the commencement of the summer reading programs!
(If you don’t have a summer reading program in your area, just make your own! Set a goal, and give yourself a reward when you hit that goal!) :)
Our goal until June 1st: Just start reading more. I don’t care if it’s 5 minutes per day. I don’t care if it’s a magazine or newspaper. (But please, no gossip magazines lol; try to make it something you learn from, if you can!)
Post what you’re reading, and how many pages, or how much time, etc. Tell us if you like what you’re reading, and if you’d recommend it! If it’s a newspaper, tell us a headline or story. Nothing formal or fancy… Let’s just talk about reading! :)
