Struggling

So I am in a relationship, or rather, in a relationship that is in tatters right now.

My partner knows that things can go back to normal. We haven't broken up officially and she feels that there is still a chance at something.

I also feel there is a chance for something, but there is a problem with my half of things.

I am constantly hesitating. I feel like the hesitating is my mind trying to self sabotage everything going on.

I want things to be okay between us, but I keep hesitating, feeling like I am going to constantly mess things up.

Do others have this bad of a problem with hesitancy? If so, what helps you all with it?

@CryptidCircus

Thank you for sharing what you’re going through. It sounds like you're really torn between wanting things to work and feeling this constant hesitation, which must be incredibly frustrating. I can sense that you care about your relationship, but the self-doubt and fear of messing things up seem to be holding you back from fully committing to repairing it. That feeling of potential self-sabotage is something many people can relate to, and it’s tough when your mind starts questioning everything, even when you want things to improve.

What do you think is at the core of your hesitation—are there specific fears or concerns that keep coming up for you? And when you imagine the relationship healing, how does that vision look and feel for you? We're here for you, and it’s clear that you’re trying to work through this inner conflict while still holding on to the possibility of something better!
