Unemployment and motivation
Hi so I'm new here so for the past few months or last year I've been un-employed and for a while I tried to ignore it and keep my emotions subsided it just led to me feeling aimless and having no clue of what to do other than repeating the same cycle of wake up,apply get slapped with a rejection letter or ghosted after an interview, and repeat. Recently while trying to get my mind focused on something else I started making a bucket list to try and get some since of direction of what else I could do but I have no clue where to start or what to do could anyone lend a hand in suggestions?
@Lonewolf360
There are more jobs out there that maybe you have never even heard of..... if applying and searching on one job type it can be really awful to get ghosted or rejection...
.it is all about what could you do i have changed many industries and job types...... i also have used temp placement groups as in some areas companies do projects and such that get you in the door and see what it is all about many people simply have no idea what a place is like from reading a few reviews on a site etc..... each place i have been have taught me new skills and sometimes new areas that i found much more interesting then a dull boilerplate "job Description"
@toughTiger6481 I guess your right that swapping fields would be a better option compared to sticking to retail which was what I was comfortable with in my past 2 jobs but even then the anxiety from swapping from familiar ground to something completely new with a whole new set of Qualifications has been eating away at me alot if you catch my drift
