2026 Week #24 - Weekly Goal Sharing! (Monday 06/08/26 - Sunday 06/14/26)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

Do Your Best and Get Your rest.
Things are can be harder than what we first think. That's OK, You can do it. It's normal. Do your best. Be kind to yourself and Be kind to others.
Last week was a trying week for many of us.
Let's appreciate what we did well, And leave the doubts behind.
It was momentus week because we persevered through extra hardships.
Regroup and do well again this week.
Think It - Believe It - Do It!
YOU CAN DO IT!
💖

Well I'm going to finish my monthly assignments. First, I should eat my yogurt. Usually do that once I clock in for the day but I was doing other things. That's the bad thing about taking a day off is coming back to fix or look at all the things that happened while you were away. A guy in another department was bragging about how he had eleven days off. I don't like taking one day off.
TODAY IS GOING TO BE A BIG FOODIE - KITCHEN DAY.
Sear marinated pork chunks - pressure cook them for about an hour.... These are for a chilic con carne. Beans are already soaked.
Pressure cook freezer bones 4 hours and vegetable scraps for broth.
Jullianne carrots, sweet potatoes, Stir fry, add in, sliced cabbage and sliced onion, continue stir fry. finish off with chopped garlic and thinly sliced, pre-cooked pork steak. (These are for rice paper rolls with rice noodles)
Clean kitchen and go shopping.
Put together chili con carne recipe with bone broth/vegetable broth, Added veg, (onoins, green peppers, garlic), shreadded pork and beans. Slow Bake for 3-4 hours.
Clean kitchen. Put shopping stuff away.
THIS IS A LOT, BUT.... I hope to get it all done so it does not drag out into 2 - 3 days of drudgery, and ruin the entire week's, other productive possibilites.
I'm starting @ 1:30AM.
@IsayUncle
155am.. Got pork seared and started in the pressure cooker
Note: 2 days of dishes to do.. in other words, starting off with a mess! Clean kitchen and then start jullianne veggies.
@IsayUncle
3:10AM: Awesome start for me! Kithcen and dishes - DONE. Roasted bones for broth - DONE. Pork Roast Pressure cooked - DONE. The pork still needs rest and cool down before I can shred it.
- Cut and cook vegetables for stir-fry
- Put roasted bones in pressure cooker (3-4 hours cook time)
2 TIPS: (A) Cooked bones, all types are super soft and make for SUPER dog treats.
(B) My older pressure cookers lids stick like they are glued when done cooking.
Awesome solution: Before placing the lid on the pressure cooker, Coat the gasket with a thin layer of baking powder, (not baking soda). Poof, twists off super easy! 😉
- Shred and debone pork.... Add to bone stock.
@IsayUncle
5:23AM: Atir fry veggies cooked - DONE. Chili rubbed pulled pork, shredded and added back into cooking liquid to rest and absorb - DONE. Bones in pressure cooker for stock - DONE.
I can't do anymore cooking or preparations until the bone stock is done and I come back with from the grocery store with supplies including much needed green Peppers for my bean and meat chili con carne.
I started early and now I'm tired, but I'm going to try to get the kitchen completely cleaned up and get all the Cooked food packed up and in the fridge until I come back from the grocery store to finish up the cooking.
I kind of surprised myself by getting all this done, this early. Definitely a good start. But it won't do any good if I poop out and crash and burn for the rest of the day, so I'm going to keep pushing.
@IsayUncle
Tiredness taking over.... Nothing accomplished , past hour.
6:38AM: Clean kitchen. Push through it!
@IsayUncle
KITCHEN WORK - ALL DONE..... Shopping and Bean Baking, To Do, later today.
7:44AM: ON A ROLL - Fold laundry
What would a VERY productive, remaining part of the day look like?
- Shopping & putting groceries away.
- Make Chili Con Carne.
- Do all paperwork and receipts, up to date.
- Congratulations letter written and mailed.
- Vacuum floors.
- Continue AI research.
OK, I admit, that would be closer to miraculous. But it would give me an amazing start for tomorrow.
11:17AM: Step 1, Get cleaned up and make errand list.
@IsayUncle
1:41PM: I'm very tired. I justed rested my eyes for a bit. I do not feel like running errands.... Several different stops. It's so late in the day, I just feel like waiting until tomorrow.
But my good progress I made this morning, Will be wiped out if I don't persevere. The whole point of today's big push was to gain some traction this week.
I'm going to force myself out the door, and into the truck and drive to town. Taking a cup of coffee with me. Maybe I won't get all my errands done, but I can get some important ones done.
@IsayUncle Maybe an early bed time tonight? You did an awesome job today Uncle! I'm proud of you!

@mytwistedsoul
Thanks Twist. Still going for the big win!
Daily Living takes up so much time! 🤣😂.
@IsayUncle
5:47PM: Just back from shopping. Now, put away time. Also finish cooking two pots of chili. ONE HOUR CHALLENGE.
Went to sign in to the account I need to get the missing customer information for background checks and the password expired a week ago. I checked my wallet to look for my ID because they want multiple IDs just to do a password reset and it's not there. Now I can't remember if I brought it over with me or not. I can order a new one but right now, I'm trying to get enough money to where I can pay my phone bill and that's not going to help me with getting a password for what I need to access for work.
@Enthenia Wow all that id to change a password? I can understand that they'd want id but couldn't you have an employee badge or something? Wouldn't that make it easier? I couldn't get a script at the pharmacy once because my license had expired 😅
@mytwistedsoul I have my employee ID but they want another form of verification. I understand if I were working from home but I'm always in the office. I can get by with pulling the missing information from the other site we use but I'm going to have to use our online application to pull the wagering data.
It's a decision from the higher ups just like many of the other decisions made with this company. They say one thing, have their underlings carry it out and don't consider the consequences. I'll just have to wait to do two reports until I can get an ID. I honestly thought I had put it in my wallet but I really have no clue what I did in the past two weeks aside from moving a lot of things, spending a lot, not sleeping hardly at all and injuring myself trying to deal with a situation that was not my own making.
@Enthenia That's what I was thinking too. I mean you're there. Not calling in or working from home. You've definitely had a lot going on the past couple of weeks with moving and not much sleep. If your luck is anything like mine, you'll find your id after you get the new one.
@mytwistedsoul also lost my appointment cards and insurance cards. The insurance cards aren't a big deal. They have them on file at the dentist and doctor. I will have to inquire about the appointments. I have a dental appointment and a appointment with the retina specialist in August but I don't remember exactly when. I know they aren't on the same day because I checked that. I also had to order a new health savings card because that was in the same place as all the other things. I remember thinking that I had to move those things but I don't recall if I actually did it.
Still having trouble sleeping. Wanted to rest an extra five minutes because my back and legs were hurting this morning but the dog wouldn't have it. The alarm went off so she was ready to play. She was pulling off the blankets and was all but nudging me to get up.
Um, I've almost got $20 for my phone bill by doing surveys. I have until tomorrow to get it paid. I could have had more but I was falling asleep at random times (at home & work). Know lack of sleep is partially responsible but also diet. And the hard floor. I have a few dollars on the gaming sites but I'm focusing on the surveys for now because that's what's giving me the most. I had only $3 about a day and a half ago and not it's nearly $20.
Oh and I had a tag on my door yesterday from animal control. Had 24 hours to call them or face possible criminal charges. Talked to the dispatcher but still have to talk to an officer. They never called back yesterday so they might today. Have to keep an eye out for an unknown or blocked number.
Low on groceries yet again. Wish I could get ahead foir once in my life.
@Enthenia Oh man! That's really lousy. To lose all that stuff while it's not that they can't be replaced but the time it takes to do it.
@mytwistedsoul I'm at $20 now. $10 more and I can pay my phone bill. Then the Internet because I have an outstanding balance of $18 apparently and they keep calling wanting to know when I'll pay. Not that I answer the calls but I signed into my account and saw the negative balance. With everything else, I forgot about the fees for moving the service.
@Enthenia I went through that with the dish service. It needed to be upgraded because the equipment was obsolete. Then they charged an extra hundred the next month! It's ridiculous the extra charges they come up with! I hope you can get the Internet taken care of soon.
@mytwistedsoul I can pay it this week. Almost got $10 again. Still need to get groceries. I got a few from one of my dog's friend's owners. I also got a bed and a couple of furniture items. They're moving and the guy was going to donate them but remembered that I had lost the bed. It's in the middle of the bedroom floor because I haven't gone through the boxes along the wall but last night was the first time I had slept on a bed in about three weeks. He also gave me some stuff that was in his freezer. It's not much but it at least got me through yesterday.
Hoping to get more $$ today so I can get some food that will at least get me through until I get paid.
@Enthenia You've got pretty good apps that are paying out. That's awesome!
@Enthenia @mytwistedsoul
Just saying hi, jumped in on your conversation a little bit. That's cool, you both do the money app thing... 👍. sorry you lost ur fave, twist.
And good job with the surveys Enthenia. 👍.
I am so happy for you, about getting a bed. I hope it works well for you and is better than sleeping on the floor. Hopefully the boxes all around don't discourage you too much, until you can get them sorted. That's just another thing that'll take a little bit of time. But you can do it. 😊
@IsayUncle Hey! Hi! 😊 Eh it's not a big deal. I just don't because I play games (more than I should 😅) and it gives me a couple bucks to blow on stuff I really don't need from Amazon 😂
@mytwistedsoul the survey one I do got me over $20. They do bonuses on Sundays if you meet a threshold during the week. It can get frustrating sometimes because a lot of the ones that pay the most fill up before I finish but it's still better than some of the games. One that I've done for a while has a verification process which delays the access to what I've earned on the games. With the surveys, once I've completed it, I get points. You can't redeem for cash until you have 500 points ($5) but it's still not bad. Other applications I've used to get points on phone activity and shopping won't let you cash out until you have their equivilant of $5 (which can be 5,000 points). Some of the game ones are like that too. One of the game apps I have changes the amount you have to have for redemption based on how you want it paid out. If I want a gift card, I could redeem right away for $5 but if I wanted it as cash, I'd have to earn more. I stopped using a couple of them because there was a minimum you had to reach before you could redeem the money.
The surveys aren't going to replace my job but hopefully I can do enough to get some food in the apartment.
As for the bed, it helps. It's in the middle of the floor because I have boxes everywhere. I need a couple more shelves before I can start organizing things. I need some floor lamps too. And rugs that are non-slip. The dog has slipped a couple of times in her enthusiasm to get her toys. Don't need her to hurt herself. Rugs are cheaper than the vet.
Wednesday - 3:31AM: Yesterday was a whirlwind and i gave it everything I had. I have a residual mess to clean up but if I can get all that done early enough, I can have time to work on some farm jacks that I'm trying to convert into Shed jacks.
If I bought myself enough time yesterday, to finish making up Shed Jacks today, That'll be a pretty good deal. Right now it's back to the basics.... Clean the kitchen
P.S. My two big pots of chili con carne came out delicious. And enough to freeze for a couple of weeks. 😋😀.
@IsayUncle
Wednesday - 8:16AM: The Kitchen is cleaned & the Morning tasks are done. Time to start the Farm jacks transition, to Shed jacks. It is sunny outside. There is no reason, not to enjoy this project.
@IsayUncle
Wednesday - 1:30PM: One jack is DONE!.... Start on jack #2!
@IsayUncle
Wednesday - 3:30PM: Heat, tiredness & low moto are threatening my success of completeing the 2nd jack. Going to go and drill 3 more holes..... baby steps.
@IsayUncle
Wednesday - 6:00PM: Finished 2nd jack.
@IsayUncle

Go Uncle! Kicking butt this week!

So glad to meet u here. I read your bio. Thanks for sharing! I found I have a similar personality to you. I just feel super angry because when I worked hard and served others, nobody even cared about me. They just gave opportunities to other people (who were fun, beautiful, and cared about specific people). Nobody cared about my efforts. So I told everybody in that club that I had left the city and gone back home (actually I didn't). I don't know how to deal with the anger. The 'kindness' in your bio lifted me up, and that's how I am gonna treat them. I believe there must be a place where they can support me and care about what I have done. Being kind to others makes me feel relaxed.
@aquaGrapes718
Good morning Aquagrapes, hmmmm? I've never had blue water grapes before. 😂. I bet they're delicious. 😁.
Thanks for reading my Bio. I do relate to your isolation and anger. it's really hard to deal with when we finally realize the magnitude of it. But reading a couple of your posts, I'm super confident you are taking the right approach and will eventually diminish the anger and build something better over the healed wounds.
Anytime you want to share with me/us or visit for a second.... You are so very welcome. If you write something in your threads, you'd like me to read, you are welcome to let me know.
I think you are on the right path with much to learn about yourself, and how to navigate within the social emptiness of indifference from others. It can be quite a journey. (Good journey 😀)
P.S. I'm in the USA. (Eastern Time Zone) How 'bout u? Good morning to good night and all things between. Be Well, Do Well.
Hahaha, I haven't tried it either—just randomly picked this name 🤨. Thanks for your reply, it means a lot to me 💛.
I'm new on Penpal, so I hope I'm not interrupting your discussion. Take care of yourself too 😉.
It's afternoon here and super sunny. Hope your mood is just as bright!
@aquaGrapes718
You're welcome and thx for sharing too. 😃
You are not interupting our discussion. I actually would love to develop a circle of personalities and friends to interact with each other....
I imagine it could develop into a consistent string of support more than just a one on one conversation. But one in one conversations are great too if you're comfortable with just talking back and forth. That would be great.
I hope you have a great day too
8 hours ago, it being Sunny there, puts us in a different time zone for sure. It was a little past midnight here, 8 hours ago. Being sunny there, pretty sure, it's not around midnight. 😁🤣🤣
Got the phone bill paid!! Have no money for anything else (like groceries) but at least I can sign into work. I need the mobile for MFA (multi-factor authentication) which happens a lot. When I sign in, when I go to lunch when I get back from lunch, when I sign in to other programs...
It's annoying but there isn't anything I can do about it which seems to be the case for many things. Or, what I attempt to do never seems to be enough or correct. I know that I fail constantly and there are many out there who are willing to listen to my tribulations but that's it. Anything more concrete will have to be done by me. Which seems counterproductive with my perchance to fail.
@Enthenia
"Which seems counterproductive with my perchance to fail." The constant effort of trying and not giving up is not counterproductive. It's admirable and something to be proud of.
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Thomas A. Edison
“You either listen to the naysayers and fall into the pit of self-loathing, or you stay on the path and move forward. “ Chris Pine
“Drag your thoughts away from your troubles... by the ears, by the heels, or any other way you can manage it.” Mark Twain
IT'S REALLY HARD..... ESPECIALLY, After what you've been through for the past couple of weeks. We are all in the same boat to some extent. Hang in there, you are not alone.
@IsayUncle it feels like it a lot. But, as I responded to Twist, I had a couple of good things happen.
This morning the dog was whining at another dog she saw through the door. We had just come back from playing outside. I looked and it was a little black dog roaming free. The guy didn't even have a leash. There are actually a lot of dogs here that are not on leashes yet mine gets in trouble and she's hardly off her leash. I haven't seen the neighbors since that incident which I suppose is just as well because I doubt they're the kind of people I'd want to associate with.
