2026 Week #6 - Weekly Goal Sharing! (Monday 02/02/25 - Sunday 02/08/26)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

And Any Others. If you want to be added/removed to/from the tag list, let me know. 😃
When I first got on 7 cups, 3 or 4 years ago, I was a mess, in the daily functioning department, And I continue to be a loner in the social department. (I was non-functioning, on all fronts, and in a state of chronic depression)
One of the great things about 7CUPS, is that they have enough categories and enough wonderful members that we all can find a niche for healing ourselves. And I think that’s the key, healing ourselves.
My path of self-healing, overall has been successful but not complete. I think it has morphed into, "healing" a dysfunctional lifestyle to get to a point of satisfaction and generosity. That is where my dry, business approach side of things comes in. In my quest, I need progress to move forward.
"Healing" a dysfunctional lifestyle is not same as needing the understading and softness, for healing a heart, soul or personal self. (I drift from that critical stage and should do better)
I’m finding the same bad habits that keep me tied down to depression are the same bad habits that keep me in a dysfunctional, failure type of lifestyle. Not acceptable for me.
Diligently working on one or the other will always help both!
REGARDLESS, ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! 💖
And have a Super Week #6
I have a lot to o this month. My leave from the school will be finished and I don't really know what I should do. I have the legal thing to worry about and credit and bills like usual. I signed up for a few more things to help supplement my income. One was so I could get a bonus on something else and I've seen it listed as a way to make extra money. Only thing is, as with so many other things, one has to meet a certain threshold of coins before redeeming cash. One site only allows someone to redeem for cash when 5k points are met but most of the surveys only net about 40 points and although they claim to take about fifteen minutes, they generally take much longer.
The same is with the other applications I'm using. I have $9.50 here, $3.45 there, $10 pending on another one, and a couple of dollars elsewhere. Not really a whole lot. But I guess it's better than nothing. I can combine it with the $30 I have on a card and get the cat food and other grocerie. I also need to save up money for laundry as I was only able to do one load this past week and I had two.
Glad it's slow right now at work. They haven't received the monthly assignments yet. Right now I'm cold and feeling tired but that's for another reason. My week of discomfort has begun and I should have realized it when I experienced a pain in the side yesterday but I didn't think anything about it. I mean, I had so many other things to worry about. I did wonder why I seemed to have to go to the restroom a few minutes after I had anything to drink. That was why. I will have two days of pain and other annoying things but there really isn't anything I can do about it. At least I won't get as hungry because I don't have the funds for a lot of food right now.
Now, I should go to the restroom and get my drink then try to listen to the new songs I put on my player. That was a slightly annoying process. I went to get album infor like I've always done and discovered that they don't support "find album info" on media player as of late last year. I mean it makes sense because most computers don't ship with optical drives any more. I had to buy mine and then I had to download a free media ripper. However, that didn't come with a database where I could get album information. It came with a link to another site where I could use a trial version to get 10 free albums verified. Any more than that, I'd have to purchase the premium version. Fortunately, I only had four albums that I needed information on. It just annoyed me that I had to go through eight extra steps when it used to be so simple before.
@Enthenia
I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling poorly. Feel better soon.
That's pretty cool you got some fresh songs to listen to. YAY... it helps. 😊
@IsayUncle got the intake form done for the lawyer. I explained the situation in as much detail as the form allowed. Also checked one of those missing money sites on a whim. There was a claim I could file for! It's for less than $50 but anything helps. Don't know how long it will take to process though and since I don't know the amount, it might not really be worth it.
I got an extra $20 from the games and surveys. Not a lot but I will be able to get groceries. I'm going to try for another $5 which will put the available funds to about $60.
Had to check the pet screening site today because I received an email stating that I was non-compliant. My profile is active and up to date so I don't know what they were complaining about. I updated it in October with the new vaccinations. There was an option to share the profile with the property owner which I haven't needed to do before but I did now. They are under different management so maybe that's why they can't find the information.
Nothing is ever straightforward.
@Enthenia
That's good you're staying on top of things. Or at least doing your best. Good job.
And it is true, as well as frustrating, that things just don't stay consistently the same. And sadly, it seems the higher-ups make things harder than easier, mostly for their convenience and gain.
Only with self reliance, can we try to narrate the changes towards our betterment. I think There is a saying, "that says the only thing that stays the same, is constant change."
@IsayUncle well one good thing is my refund is processing already so even if I have to pay a late fee, I'll have rent in a lot sooner than the past two months. One account went into collections but there wasn't anything I could do about it. i didn't have the money and i had no idea when I would get the money. At least I can pay other accounts and hopefully get some new shoes and clothes. At least my rent will be taken care of. That's the main thing. The dog and cat need a roof over their heads.
Got the rent paid. Had a notice on my door when I opened it at four this morning. Was only a couple days late this time and I even paid over. Still getting phone calls from other people. Will have to use part of my paycheck next week to appease them. Got some food and clothes ordered. Still have to get shoes. Those will have to wait until next week as well.
Right now, trying to get those levels met on the games so I can get pet food. The ads for these applications are so misleading. There's no way one can get close to a hundred just by casually playing on their coffee or lunch break. I have about $10 on one and close to ten on a couple of others. If I can get those to a decent value, I can eventually transfer the funds to my secondary checking account and I can go to the pet food store near work. I only got the cat four cans at the store when I went and she's gone through them already. Only had the cans of the food she doesn't like left. I was surprised it went so fast.
Got the phone bill paid and I still have to get another bus pass because mine expires at five Tuesday morning. The deposit went fast but at least I'll be in better shape by the end of this month. I don't have everything paid but I got the rent and that's extremely important.
@Enthenia
Tha't's good u beat the notice on the rent.
I'm sorry u struggle so hard. 🙁
@IsayUncle I've gotten used to it. At least this time it was close to the beginning of the month and not the end and next month I will be on track. Unfortunately, I'll also have a new lease so the cost will be higher. That's why raises don't really mean anything to me. I get more money but everything else goes up too so I'm not really earning any more money.
And that's one thing all these cash back things don't tell you. Yes, you get money back but to get the most, you have to spend money first. I remember one game I played. One of the offers was something like "Spend $135 and get $80 back instantly!". So basically, you're losing $50 if you did the offer. I guess most people would see it as "Cool! I got $80!" But you didn't really.
Sometimes the cash back offer comes in handy. I had one I got emailed about from using the Edge browser to purchase pet food I think and two months later I got $10 back. It was when I could use a little extra but it's not something that should be counting on and treating it like making money is a losing venture I think---especially when an offer tries to get you to spend quite a lot just to get $30 or $40 back.
@Enthenia
yea, i never understood getting rebated more than the item is worth. it's a marketing scheme that works though.
when it's fair pricing, then it's a good thing,,,,,, but those days of innocent, marketing honesty, are long long long gone! .... Now it's all about maniputaing human nature & corperate greed.
