For the past three days I have failed my goals because (1st day) Lack of focus and discipline. (2nd day) Unexpected burdens to deal with. (3rd day) Lack of focus and direction into a large obligation.
NOW - Clean fridge and do all cooking, juicing and preservation of foods.
11/08/22 - 9:16am:
I made good progress with the fridge. The reason the fridge is a high priority is because for about 2 weeks I've been eating comfort foods because vegetable dishes take a lot more time to shop, prepare and cook with. I forced myself to buy a variety of vegetables last week but didn't take a the time to cook them all. That is why the fridge is so important. To cook the veggies before they spoil and to ensure I have healty foods for the week to eat. I haven't finished completely but mostly done.
I made an awesome vegetable soup, left just enough veggies for juicing. I also divided and packaged a 10# box of riblets for the freezer. I got all the dishes from cooking and lefftovers all washed and the kitchen cleaned up. I stayed focused and determined!
NEW PRIORITIES: Morning tasks - Go to Town - Shopping - Voting - Bank loan.
Yesterday, I got distracted from my plan but got a lot accomplished in town. BUT I wish I could make a plan, stick to it and finish. I lack the discipline and focus and plus I tire easily and nap a lot of time away.
11/09/22 - Early morning.
Write student report / Pay HF / Do diploma request.
I did a couple tasks and then went to my morning job and also did some grocery shopping.
11/09/22 - Mid morning.
Write student report and put groceries away.

I agree, sometimes that can be hard and then sometimes it's ok and it feels so good.
I have been struggling a lot these days. Really hope that all goes well. @IsayUncle

Anything paticular or just in general? I hope things go better for you too. It does get hard sometimes but we try to stay hopeful if we can.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I read your profile and you are quite the listener. what a great series of accomplishments to embrace. Beautiful. You will help many many people. With all that going on i think it can be very hard to do the mundane, routine things.... and then they pile up 😟 and for me, it often shuts me down.
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. ♥️
You won't believe but I just came across the forum post conversation between you and Palsm. And it is only now that I have realized that it's you. 😃
Do you know? Being a listener is something that keeps me going. I don't know how much of the truth this holds. However, I feel like all the members whom somehow I manage to help pray for me and bless me. That's the real reason why I'm at peace even with such chaos around me.
I truly agree that the piled-up burden can put anybody down.
@IsayUncle
Exactly, I agree with you!
That's wonderful. I would like to thank you for being kind, compassionate, and encouraging with people in all your interactions on that day. Best wishes and much love 💕

A Day in the Life
I
woke early today but later than usual. Regrets and worries floating softly
between my ears.
Got chores to do, some for moments and some for years.
I sit in my chair, wondering why it’s important for someone to hear.
Sort
the kitchen and sort the bedroom
But making chocolate candies instead, the dogs barking to come inside.
Another reminder of chores left undone, to clean and re-straw The kennel and
dog houses.
But also; the inside dog bedding and personal laundry.
Time
has passed but with these I am still tasked,
Sort the kitchen and sort the bedroom.
With the kitchen sorted and dishes washed,
There are still many chores to be squashed.
For
every chore done,
I can never say I won.
Because every chore left to do,
Easily gets multiplied by two.
I spend too much time working with food. So much time because I know eating vegetables are so important and eating excessive junk foods and comfort foods are very destructive to daily stamina and endurance. I also love working with foods and cooking, But the shopping storing, cleaning and preparing is all time consuming. Living a long distance from any substantial markets make this task even more time consuming and harder to plan a quicker routine. I must make my vegetable juice today to salvage any usable fruits and vegetables. But first I still have to sort the bedroom…. As time continues to slip away at a pace faster than I like.
The
bedroom sorted and the laundry started, the dishes are done so that was a good
run.
It is 7:15am and I am tired. Should I rest or do more?
Morning tasks or do the juicing?
Either will be a good chore.
Rest
or get dressed, rest or get dressed, rest or get dressed?...... and so, it
goes.
I did my morning tasks. Now I will rest for 15 - 30 minutes.
I rested but this is when I start to falter. I got some things completed and
I’m tired of chores. I start snacking and resting a lot. There are many hours
left in the day but I lose focus, direction and determination. My ultimate goal
is to complete my billing and personal paperwork. My business paperwork and my
bussing paperwork but first, I must complete the mundane personal tasks without
eating and sleeping the day away… (as the burger sizzles on the stove).
9:25:am: Wash dog bedding. It is a cold, wet rainy day. A friend came by to borrow a trailer. I got him set up and on his way. I realized I forgot to add detergent to the dog bedding…. Re-Wash.
A Day in the Life
3:10pm: I did watch TV, Sleep and Eat the day away…. Try again
1)
Clean kitchen again. Fold clothes - DONE.
2) Sort vegetables and fruits, clean out fridge - Done.
3) Make vegetable juice - Done.
6:38pm: Prepare and roast potatoes, carrots and cauliflower.
9:00pm: That was my day in the life, and tomorrow.... I wake to a sink full of dishes.
