I'd like to find 7+ members to interact on this thread.
I think interaction with a group of like-minded people helps "a lot" to overcome obstacles and forge forward. “Like Minded” - (Sharing stories, help and encouragement about tasks, chores and work. Changing mind blocks and setbacks)
The smallest achievement can lead to the most uplifting sense of personal self-value and satisfaction.
This organization is called 7-cups in reference to 7 cups of tea being shared. 7+ people with different views of support and encouragement can help any member through obstacles and hard times that hinder accomplishment. And also, there is no commitment to a chatroom with restricted timelines. This is More casual with encouragement to interact together with everyone’s posts.
Our goals can take minutes… hours to weeks and months;
and even years. Share yours now.
“Even
the mundane task of washing dishes by hand is an example of the small tasks and
personal activities that once filled people's daily lives with a sense of
achievement.” B. F. Skinner

Just list something you’re trying to do and encourage others too.... BIG or small....
Amazing or boring.... Simple or Complicated.... It doesn't matter what it is,
if it is important to you. And hopefully you will get 7+ replies of hope,
encouragement and maybe a nice conversation. 😊
I finally did it. I've been wanting to make a post like this for about a month now. We'll see how it goes.
It's 7:45 AM, and just forcing myself to do my morning tasks a good task to get started on to hopefully gain some momentum for more pressing matters.
It's 7:45 AM, and just forcing myself to do my morning tasks a good task to get started on to hopefully gain some momentum for more pressing matters. DONE but barely And gained NO momentum!
ADHD makes it hard to finish things and so does giving up. I can't always control my ADHD, and it's a battle not to give up... but I do have that "not give up option". ADHD has been winning all day but now I'm going to do something a little more.
2:25pm: Pay bills. Review finance sheets to make sure all is up to date.
THE NEXT DAY... Try Again. (yesterday was an epic fail)
3:02am: Morning routine including washing dishes and cleaning kitchen.
Morning routine including washing dishes and cleaning kitchen. DONE (but).... napped for 3.5 hours afterwards! Grrrr
10:10am: Morning tasks.
Morning tasks. DONE! (Feeling a little better)
12:16pm: Finish completely getting bills and paperwork up to date.
First off.... thanks for the hearts of support 😊.
Finish completely getting bills and paperwork up to date. DONE!... (BUT) then slept for 3 hours.
5:00pm: Do mileage logs.
THE NEXT DAY....
Do mileage logs. (from yesterday). NOT DONE!
4:00am: Morning routine, Dishes and Tasks.
Morning routine, Dishes and Tasks. DONE! But then.... Slept for 2 hours.
I cannot get no motivation or momentum.
Keep TV off, Listen to audio book.
11:00am: Sort house - Start laundry - Finish mileage logs
THE NEXT DAY....
I ponder how pathetic this exercise is or how pathetic am I or why no one wishes to talk about trying to be accountable and how hard it is to function with ADHD and purpose together to the completion of a simple task or a lofty goal. How pathetic am I to need acknowledgement and support from a group of like minded people. BUT.... I know the show must go on.
(from yesterday) Continue laundry. Do dishes. NOT DONE!
4:14am: Morning tasks.
