I'm proud of myself because I got into a great university, despite having all the bad things happen.
I worked hard all throughout high school, but with my depression, abuse, and other various issues, it's been hard to keep up with schoolwork and stay sane. I go to a special high school for gifted students, so competing with them is even harder. Sure, I didn't get into my first choice, but I did get into my best fit uni, which I feel like is more important. I think things are finally going to turn around for me, and I'm excited to see what's in store.
What are you going to school for? Please keep going and never quit! You are ready for a bright future. :)
Thank you so much! I'm going to study Biology and maybe possibly even major in Psych as well on a Pre-Medicine track and minor in Gender Studies & Sexuality. I want to become a doctor and one day, hopefully, build an organization that in particular gives sexual education, and lgbtqia+ information to women and children in high-risk areas around the world :)
That's great! Continuing your education is so important. It may take you awhile, but you will make it. It makes me happy when I hear/see other kids trying to do something with their life. I have no children so I cannot lecture anyone else lol. You said high risk, actually that's why I have no children yet b/c I am a high risk pregnancy. Well I wish you all the best!
That is great news, congrats! :) Never give up you can do it. You'll see that going to a university will be life changing because you learn so much. Things will definitely get better as well. You're strong, keep it up.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I have a very good feeling that college will be freaking amazing!
It sure will and will distract you from negative things.
@rebeccaloveseverything, this is amazing! I'm so glad to hear it :) Even though you've been through so much, you haven't let it define you. You've made it through each day which has put you on this road to greatness. "Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength." Remember that an arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it's going to launch you into something great :) I hope that university will bring lots of joy and awesome opportunities for you, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Keep being wonderful ?
