Weekly sharing of Goals! Week #28 2024 (Monday 07/08/24 - Sunday 07/14/24)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.
That task took 1.5 hours.
3:30PM: Use 1.5 - 2 hours to fill out and submit site evaluation request.
Three hours later ugggh! Ohh Gilligan where art thou? The three hour tour....😁🤣😁, how do i really feel?😒
6:34PM: Onward and Downward, down to the dog houses. Spend 1+ hours on the dog houses.
FATE WILL ALWAYS SLOW US DOWN.... at least me anyway.
I was determined to get my dog houses and kennels done. Absolutely determined before I started back to work tomorrow.
My trailer is high up off the ground and I have plenty of storage under my trailer. I went under my trailer to get some diatomaceous earth for the dog houses and the ground was soaking wet down there.
My hot water heater had quit working about a month ago but I live by myself and it didn't really affect me too much. Other than cold showers I was able to heat water up on the stove, for everything else.
To get to my hot water heater is a major job because it's behind all my pantry shelves and my pantry is loaded. I didn't assume it was a broken water line because i I didn't hear no water running. I just assumed it was a bad thermocouple because normally that's what goes out and then it doesn't turn on the heating element. No harm no foul.
Well, it turned out I was wrong. Now I have to empty out my pantry and address this major issue.
ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH! I guess an optimist would say and that was a good thing I had to go under and get that stuff for the dog houses and do you know what I would tell that optimist right about now, you really don't wanna know but i know it's true and now I have to fix the water heater.
7:37PM START EMPTYING OUT THE PANTRY!
843pm-really bummed out-my house is a disaster after trying so-so-so-so-so-so hard to get things in order so i could concentrate on backed up jobs for a couple weeks.
im going into emotionless robot mode robot robot robot.
It's my party and I will cry if I want to. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I beg my pardon, I was never promised a rose garden. On the road again making chores with my friends.
GOAL: MAKE IT THROUGH A SEPTIC TANK JOB BY NEXT WEDNESDAY. PLUS OTHER JOBS IN BETWEEN!
WORK AND JUST WORK! ROBOT MODE. I HAVE USED UP MY 3 GRACE PERSONAL DAYS. WORK AND JUST WORK IS PRIORITY.
ROBOT MODE MEANS KEEP CLEANING HOUSE TOO AS TIME ALLOWS.
ROBOT MODE MEANS TO FIGHT AND KEEP BATTERIES CHARGED.
ROBOT MODE MEANS BEING A LITTLE CRAZY IN A POSITIVE WAY.
FIGHT!
I'm really having a hard time getting back on track. I should have left the house by 8:30 this morning and I've just been laying in bed for two hours.
Knowing that every misstep will triple my problems.
I'm so far ahead from where I was when I started and yet I continue to feel so far behind.
It could be all the bread and baloney sandwiches.
Water and vegetables water and vegetables rice and beans water and vegetables rice and beans. No alcohol no alcohol. Limit caffeine. Water, vegetables and greens, rice and beans. Discipline. Focus.
An attitude of gratitude. Dig in, be thankful for the opportunities. Eat healthy.

@IsayUncle
Being human, we really only can do one thing at a time. You are a hard worker - don't forget that. I've seen you push through so much when I joined you last year in these threads. It doesn't matter what you face, you stand up and move forward. You will continue to do that.
Everyone has ups and downs, and you are allowed to feel whatever you are feeling. I would remind you as well, that giving yourself grace for not making all the exact timing that you want to make.
Something that helps me is using my time and tasks according to when my energy levels are best. For example, I am most productive in the evenings. So I do the tasks that require a lot of thought in the evenings. Mornings I'm slower and have to think harder, so anything that I can do that is easy, I get those out of the way in the morning. I try to structure my day to that as well. There are certain things that I do on days that drain me more than other days, so I try to schedule accordingly. I don't know if something like that would be possible or helpful, but it's something that I've found really helpful on tough days, and keeping my days more balanced.
You've got this - you are moving forward. Give yourself kudos on moving forward and encouragement when you are struggling. :)
