What motivates and inspires you?
Hey everyone.
Hope you all are doing good.
Motivations are the things that drive you and with these motivations come inspiration. Inspiration from those nearest and dearest to us. We are encouraged and reassured that although things don’t look good at the moment , there are ways for things to get better. And if those things don’t get better we can have motivation to talk about those things that have not went well.
How do you view motivation and inspiration ?
Do they go hand in hand or are the spectate things for you ?

I view motivation as an internal force that drives me to take action. This internal force can be triggered by a variety of things, such as a desire to achieve a goal, a need to fulfill a requirement or a simple interest in the activity itself. Inspiration, on the other hand, can be thought of as an external force that compels us to take action. This external force can come from a variety of sources, such as a role model, a mentor, or a situation that we find ourselves in.

@forcefulCranberry3432 this is insightful. I think that, for people to have balance in life, one must have both of these. You'll be depressed if you don't have any motivation, no growth. And too much inspiration can make you reckless, chasing things that may or may not be of value to you so wisdom won't bloom.

@considerateMoon9060 it does not need to be anything fancy or big at all. We can find inspiration from the smallest of things - maybe a piece of music you like, sport , drama , art etc 😊

@GoldenRuleJG My kids are what inspire and motivate me to keep going when I feel (so often) like giving up. Knowing they need me helps me to wake up on days I wish I could just stay in bed and to take care of myself (at least minimally) when I don't care about myself anymore. I am blessed to have them 💙

My daughter and spirituality both inspire and motivate me the most. It can be hard sometimes to find the motivation to do mindfulness and spiritual practices going, but I am learning to look toward my desire to be the best Dad I can be, to motivate myself to do what I know helps me be the best me.

Who motivates me is first Jesus Christ, who is God. Second are my successful friends and family. They motivate me to strive for more. Third particularly gifted architects, artists and musicians and inventors and innovators in science and engineering.
