help
Okay for context, I have OCD and I obsess over things chronically. As in, when I fixate on something a little bit too long my whole life revolves around that one thought, and I can’t prevent it. The issue is, that I think I have developed my first real crush, like I really like this boy, but my brain likes him a bit too much. For instance, we went on a ski trip with our school a couple weeks ago, and i memorised his hotel room number, and the voice in my head told me to go in and watch him sleep. Also, we went swimming and we were playing games as a group in the pool, and this one girl was getting all touchy with him, and I wanted to drwn her sooo bad. I obviously didn’t do it, but now everything revolves around him to the point it’s making me psychotic and it’s driving me mad. Any tips?

I think many people do what you have explained you memorize things or throw yourself into knowing as much as you can about a person... overcoming it for me was realizing most of my thoughts of being involved with this person did not work out and I wasted IMO a lot of time trying to picture the perfect meet up or date or time together.
In the meantime i missed out on other people and things that we do not get a do-over. most of these fantasy do not work out because we are NOT considering what they may want.
Life is so much bigger and if we are only focused on one thing / person we miss so much around us.
