Pack an overnight bag for when you're going to the hospital: change of clothes, conditioner & shampoo, electronics, baby car seat...maybe even a toy or two for the little one (though the infant will be more focused on sleeping & eating), etc. It made me feel more comfortable with my stay at the hospital. Plus it's an easy grab and go, don't have to worry about last minute grabbing things
As for after the birth of the child, when the child naps, I recommend sleeping at the same time. I had to feed my child every 4hrs, and I felt tired. The sleep schedule was off. It also helps to pump milk into a bottle, so if you need to rest your spouse can help take over.
Talk to your baby often too, sing to them, etc. Helps with the child's development.
Sign up for headstart or child development type of programs. They go over children's milestones, safety, nutrition, resources, (ex..childcare, food assistance, cash assistance, etc), and also some provide FREE toys, free entry to children's museum or zoos. So it never hurts looking into those programs.
I can't think of anything else at the moment, but good luck!
You got this mama. :-)
Congratulations!
a new baby is wonderful and a little daunting at first but trust yourself and you’ll do fine
My advice is to take help when it’s offered. The first few weeks you’ll be exhausted and perhaps overwhelmed. This will pass, so just hang in there. Being a mom has been the most joyful aspect of my life, I wish the same for you

Sleep when the baby sleeps
Be nice to your significant other they are your support and love.

Congratulations, Moon! I would suggest you surround yourself with a healthy circle of women who are emotionally supportive and can help you recharge after giving birth. Help you out and all. I lacked that when the moment came & I struggled. I just want other moms to feel secure, supported and nurtured. Big hugs!
Congratulations! Just remember to take some time out for you!
Congratulations
Congratulations! Enjoy your baby, try not to second guess yourself. Do what you think is right. Ask for any help you need. Let dad take over some of the baby duties early on....it's his child too! Breathe.......
@newmom254575 Congratulations, that's so exciting!
