Congrats! My tips are accept help or ask people for help - not just holding the baby but help cleaning up around the house if you need it, or watching the baby so you can catch up on sleep. Maybe freeze some meals or save up on gift cards so you can order out - there's a website that does meal trains and for a lot of people that's been good. Also take care of yourself, you just delivered a baby and that takes a huge toll on your body. Let the house be messy or things go undone and rest.
Lastly I found when my kids with babies sometimes I was overwhelmed and sometimes I was so happy. Finally I developed the motto 'it won't be like this for long' and I'd tell myself that in the good times ans the times where my son woke up for the 100th time and I was ehausted - it won't be like this for long so hang in there when things get tough and enjoy the wonderful moments of having an newborn/infant.
Try to get as much sleep as you can when the baby is in the crib (or in another safe location). You'll need it.

Congratulations on being mom . Its a wonderful feeling and you will enjoy it very much . Take everything easy dont be afraid . Hold your baby im your arms. Better skin to skin contact it helps warm the baby and increase the bond between you. Always talk to the baby as he listens an knows his moms voice. Breastfeeding is the best for both of you from the moment of delivery. It helps him grow normally and help the brain development, immunity, and protects him from a lot of disease . It also makes him feel safe and warmth of your love.it will also help you in losing weight and going back to your normal weight . And a lot of other things . Keep calm and eat well. The baby will be affected by your mood . So u its good to be happy . Good luck to you on this wonderful journey
Congratulations!! Take every day with grace, this is a learning process and every baby is different . Trust your gut and don’t let other people tell you how to raise your kid. My best advice would be just try not to stress too much and go with the flow. I worried about absolutely everything and it took away from just enjoying the beginning stage. Everyone says it’s the hardest but I believe it’s the easiest/best/most rewarding time you’ll ever get with your child. Soak it all up, it only happens once.
@newmom254575 huckleberry is a great app to track feeding sleep nappies etc found it super helpful the first few weeks but even now my baby is 7 months and I still use it!
