Okay, lemme share something!! So I’m a Muslimah. I recite Qur’an on a daily basis. In Islam we believe there is a creature known as “Jinn” (made of fire) living with us, but human eyes can’t see them. There are specific verses in the Qur’an related to jinn. Some ppl say if u recite them continuously for 40 days in the middle of the night (3rd part of night), u can gain control over them. I’ve seen many ppl talk abt keeping jinn for their own purposes 💀 (mostly stories from Malaysian ppl).

About what you shared next… yeah, that part hit hard. Feeling watched, judged, and made to feel like you are no longer worthy is really painful. And I agree with you completely, no one is unworthy. Everyone has a reason and a story behind why they are who they are today. Sometimes we forgive things because they are family, and sometimes the same family hurts us the most by not understanding us. Maybe it’s how they grew up, maybe they don’t really try to understand, I keep thinking about that too. I just wish loved ones could at least try to see us for who we really are. Sitting quietly and watching yourself fall deeper sounds scary, and I’m really sorry you’re going through that. I’m glad you said it out loud here though.
Dark is definitely your kind of thing. It has three seasons. It’s mysterious, unsettling, and keeps your mind busy the whole time. No loud horror, but it crawls under your skin slowly. I think you’ll enjoy the hunt and confusion part a lot.
