Dentist appointment went good no cavities but a few spots they're watching 🙄 Everyone wanted to see pictures of Yogi 😊 They're all dog lovers there and they told me I should have brought him with! 😂 The receptionist told me all I had to do was tell her I was bringing a friend with 😂

I’m glad to hear your appointment went well ❤️❤️ so it sounds like your next appointment you will be bringing a friend with you 🤭 do you know I can’t tell you the last time I went to the dentist 😅 I know I had a wisdom tooth pulled a few years back. I had to get a crown put on the time before that…. Having braces for 4 years I think was enough visits for me 😂😂

Ouch! That’s got to hurt! I had my top front tooth chipped when I was younger. For being a goober. It’s was at like 2am during a sleepover hahaha anything to wake my mother up. I had head gear with my braces too 😂 everything I do is so attractive.
Certainly sounds as if that’s the way to go. I can’t tell you how many of those surgeries I’ve visited patients afterwards with. They are VERY common. Maybe they can get a visiting nurse after the surgery too. Makes sense his hands are cold. The heart is working to get the blood to the important areas right now.
I did go to the park. It was chilly! I stayed a for a bit. Work is ok. Idk if I’m in the Wanna run transition phase or what but, right now, it’s meh.

I thought of you yesterday, I went and sat in the hot tub, couldn’t find my sock when I got out so I had to leave in my flip flops. Quack -quack-quack is how my feet sounded the entire walk out. Apparently I’m the duck. 😂

😂 have you ever seen these balls, You’re supposed to band them together and they make a spark? I just googled them, they are called “hand blasters” 😂 (what in the world) anyways, we decided to throw one of those around and catch it, I caught it with my tooth. I needed a root canal, my nerve was exposed. It was a good one.
Have you ever needed stitches or had surgery? Broken bone?
That would be wonderful if they were able to have some nurses come in a couple times a week for him. ❤️ and any help, is helpful. Even if you made a meal or something like that. You sound like you have a really good relationship with them ❤️
It’s definitely more administrative. I don’t even use my stethoscope!!! The appointment piece right now is because I’m just starting out, when I’m in the home with people and learning, I set them up right there. I don’t think this is going to be a long term gig for me. Maybe just enough to get my confidence back. I think the hospital was too much, the kids I had no hours and well maybe I’ll find something in between but I definitely need to stick with it to get a routine in my life again.

I find couples that have been together that long just bicker 😂 they have nothing to lose, the person that’s been there for EVERYTHING , it’s an unconditional kinda love thing. That’s the way I look at it anyways. And maybe their hearing isn’t so great anymore?
They told me at my girls first vet visit they thought they heard a murmur. She grew out of it. But I listened to check it out.

It’s Tuesday and feels like the 3rd Monday of the week. 😂 I went for a walk with my former co worker friend on Sunday. We took my girl pup. Girls day! She jumped in the water, I have to make sure she doesn’t go in far, she’s bottom heavy 😂 stopped at bakery. It was a beautiful day out. Today was hot. I just put the fan in my room. I did today all by myself at work. I was proud of myself. Felt good. Just ate an ice cream sandwich.

idk if I told you how I put Sheetrock up to fix a hole in my wall about a month ago. Miss Fat booty ran down the stairs again, broke it but even more so 😞 idk what I can put at the bottom to protect the wall from her rear end. She gets the zoomies and takes a sharp turn knocking her bum into the wall 🤦♀️ any ideas? 😅

Yes, I hold tension in my shoulders and jaw. I typically use a heating pad. It’s just been too warm for that. I just got a massage!!! Ahhhhhhmazing. He just got trained in lymphatic massage so I’m going to try that next ❤️

It’s supposed to be helpful post op, sinuses, and weight loss even. He said you definitely make sure I drink enough water when the time comes. You can get a headache from not.

I hear you on that. Some nights the lonlies (we'll make it a word) do hit harder. Friday's and rainy nights are the nights to cuddle up a blanket, watch a movie, have some laughs. I know I'm not there physically but spiritually I celebrate with you (that sounds so stupid 😕) but I do. ❤️❤️
I was going to plant the flowers I picked up but I'm thinking I should wait until after Tuesday. We're supposed to have a few nights below freezing 🤬 and I'd hate to have them freeze. I could do up a few flower pots though and keep them in the greenhouse. I might have to cover the sugar peas and potatoes though. This weather.... I'm tellin' ya (smh)
They scheduled the neighbor guys surgery for May 22nd. The scan he had at the beginning of the week was a pet scan, I thought she said cat scan. I'm not really sure what the difference is. Anyway... his primary physician called and they saw something else they don't like. His wife said they want him to see an oncologist for a biopsy. So Idk. I'm nervous and afraid for him. It's been bringing up a lot of thoughts about my father ya know? 😓

Sounds Like How my boy looks at butterflies. So precious. ❤️ oooh I just looked those up, I want a gold fever lily 😂 so pretty. I bought a bouquet mix with white daisies, orange gerbera daises, a few tiger lily’s and what looks like orange roses mixed in.
They sent an email today that they were booking for the LDS massages today so I booked one!!! 🥳 I’ll go the first week of May. I’m going to do it on a Saturday, that way if there’s any soreness or whatever I have Sunday to recuperate. Massages can un trap things. I’m sure I’ll be fine but, I’ll definitely let you know how it goes.
She would love yogi. I didn’t tell you, we went to the dog park last weekend. She went running in prancing, saying hello to everyone, happy as could be and someone’s dog started fighting with her. She was so sad after that. The owner of the dog said I’m so sorry she’s never done that. And I responded that it was very out of character for my dog to do such. So I put her on the leash and we went down to the other end. Not even 5 minutes later the other dog went after another one!! I knew it wasn’t mine that started it! I was upset. My poor girl. Luckily she was ok. Gets in bigger scraps with her brother but still.

Sorry to hear about your neighbor 😞 I don’t want to offer TMI and bring something up for you. But I’m here if you have questions. ❤️❤️ my dad who raised me passed with cancer. It’s tough. Mine was diagnosed and didn’t do anything. Infact he went for surgery and I went to visit him in the hospital and he left before they discharged him. It’s hard when people are stubborn about their medical care. It could be because they don’t want to know. So when it rains it pours. Always here for you ❤️❤️❤️

idk that the week is moving as free flowing this week. It’s Wednesday. I left work an hour early. I was hoarse this morning and by like 2 I was so tired. I even had “sick eyes” I don’t know it’s it allergies or a head cold. But I’m under 3 blankets with the heat on. I took a 3 hour nap earlier. Staying home tomorrow. Though I’m definitely becoming more comfortable with work stuff which is a good feeling. Hate that I don’t feel good but new germs.

@peachThinker662 Aww that's great though 😊 I think I've always had a thing for flowers. They can bring so much color to living spaces. Plus they attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Lilies have always been my favorite, with irises a close second.

My week has been stress and tears. Lots of adjustments and exhaustion at the end of the day. I had a meeting with my boss today for my 30 day review. She told me I’m doing a great job and to go easy on my self. I was overbooked this week and didn’t know that I could say to her can you tell the schedulers to remove some.
I got new glasses in this week. Desperately needed but hate the way I look in them. These are clear frames and they’re actually kinda cute.
I did not finish my work today 😂 I was tapped out by 7. I just got up, got in pjs and made my bed to climb in it.
Hoping for a lovely weekend. Massage tomorrow. Excited for that and to see the outcome. Paid off my overdue excise tax. I still feel like there was something else I was going to do. Idk 😂

@peachThinker662 We are so much alike 😁 They should make it a point to say that if the schedule is too much to say something. I would imagine each potential client you visit has different questions, maybe not all of them but some people might have more and others less, so each visit could take longer. And you're not going to want to cut them off and walk away because of a time limit

@peachThinker662 That's a lot. 😕 On top of all the other people you have to work with. It is overwhelming! I'm so sorry this is happening to you. With everything you went through to find this job it's really unfair that everything is changing and that they're adding so much to what was already a full schedule. It's hard to get your feet under you when the rules keep changing 😞 And then to have a meeting and not answer any of the questions you all asked, that doesn't offer any peace of mind.
She's been getting upset because there's been a few all of a sudden doctor appointments. And at first I guess it bothered me that she was complaining about them but then I realized it's probably just how she's coping with the stress. I feel bad taking this trip but she said this is the better week and he only has one doctor appointment
We're taking off tomorrow morning. It's usually a 5 hour drive but it'll probably take a little longer with little man along 😅

@peachThinker662 We both got lost. But we found a really sweet river to fish. It was so quiet and nobody around for miles. It's really hard to take pictures with him. I would have a picture all set to snap and he'd see something and pull 😂 There were a lot of blurred shots. 😂 He really took to the adventure. You would have thought he had done it before and was a seasoned pro! 😊

It can. I went for a walk a few weeks ago and I was like ummm idk if I should go down any trails 😂 so I turned around
I know, they look so cute on videos. When I was younger and we had all gone camping, we went for a hike and way off in the distance was 2 baby cubs and a mama up in the trees. I remember my dad saying turn around, he mentioned the mamas will come after you real quick with the babies around. Another time, we had a bear come into our campsite. I didn’t get to see him. I remember having to go in the van we had with everyone and the dog 😂 our dog smelt SO bad from the fear. In the morning on the picnic table were claw scratches, guess it wanted to hang out with our dog…or eat her 😂

It’s too much change and I understand that, but I didn’t sign up to work from home I’ve been home for the last *** year. I wanna get out. I wanna be around people otherwise I’m stuck in my head too much.
Just an off day -I got a piercing on my ear-I think I told you and it got infected and I needed antibiotics and I don’t think that helped any.

Yes, the interview went great today. They just called me and offered me the job. However, I do have an interview tomorrow and I want this job so far so it’s actually for the previous company that I worked for with the hospital so I know how everything works AND it’s a pediatric office so I’ll get to see all the Littles not only that, but it’s right next to the hospital that I worked at so I would be able to see all my work buddies that I had over there too. I don’t know that might be the best of both worlds type of situation so I don’t wanna sign the offer letter yet until I do that interview tomorrow. My poor coworker he said to me that the new manager called him and was like what are you doing all day you need to mark down everything that you’re doing and I was like don’t forget to mark down that you had a conversation with me on the phone he’s like right does he wanna know when I go to the bathroom too and . he even told him you’re not doing much for staff retention by calling somebody like this and micromanaging . He told me that if I plan on leaving to let him know when because he’s probably not gonna stay either on one hand, it makes me feel good because people enjoy working with me evidently and I’m good at what I do, but I don’t know it’s weird to have to call somebody to say hey thanks for all your help but I’m leaving, but I think he would definitely understand. I just wish I had a job for him. So her whole thing is, she had to do telehealth with Covid and didn’t have a choice in the matter and I understand that in this might be temporary too, but there’s so many other dynamics of this place that I don’t like. All I can say is from the start I was nervous taking this job for so many reasons and I took the time to drive an hour into the big city for this place and I got through that my weeks of training. I drove an hour in the opposite direction into a big city and did it like I’ve conquered so much having this place it’s given me some confidence that I can do it but it’s not my happy place.
My ear has turned back into an ear. Looks like I had cauliflower ear going on for a second there.😂
Oh, thank you for updating me on your neighbor. I was wondering how he was doing. So it sounds like his first surgery is pretty easy enough that just goes in his leg I’ve seen so many of those it’s kind of wild. Yes, good old robotic surgeries. The surgeons are amazing with those. That’s what they did with my neck and my gallbladder 😂 please keep me updated. Big hugs. He’s gonna be just fine lovey

Having a case of the Mondays. This work from home thing is challenging I can’t stand being by myself. I took the dog for a walk this morning tried to do some yoga, but instead I got licked and sat on. I looked into the wide to see if there was any classes I could do, but it doesn’t seem like anything lines up with my schedule so afraid of going backwards and I feel like my attitude right now am I crying? It’s just gonna send me there. I want to move forward feeling really like self-pity I guess.

The other thing I’m really tough on myself. I feel like I’m too much for people with my emotions and it makes me not talk to anybody even more. I don’t know. I’m just in the middle of it right now so I’m just letting it out to you.
The doctor wants to add meds I’m so scared of doing that. It’s like I have a fine line between sedated and wired so do I just need to change my behaviors? Do I just need to face my fears and do what I need to do?

She said she's tired and that worries me a little. I told her if she needs to get a room somewhere she should. They'll probably keep him overnight at least. I also told her I can come and get her too if she'd rather be home. The last update was a few minutes ago and she had chicken for lunch and the nurse said he's doing well

I did sign up for a dance class in June. I love to dance. I hope it’s fun. I used to do pole dancing 😂 it was so much fun and such a confidence builder. I’m not ready to hang from my arms again yet though. And I did some of the acro ribbon too. This class is on the ground.
People close to me have seen improvement and complimented it. Im just not all the way…❤️ I did cry. I let it out.
I took a 1/2 of a propranolol today and wooooo that knocked me for a loop. I wasn’t anxious 😂 not doing that again. But what I know is propranolol decreases the heart rate, which lowers the breathing, etc etc. so if I can do that naturally…. And you’re right, I do have the ultimate say ❤️

I've known them since I was 15 or 16. They knew my grandparents.
I've talked with her a few times since . They didn't start closing him up until 7:30. The. they took him to recovery in the ICU. She didn't get to see him until almost 10. He lost a lot of bl**d so they're pushing it in him and he isn't stable. Last check in was at 3am. There's been a few complications so they're keeping him in the ICU. She going to stay there for now.
I'd be impatient too tbh. I hate waiting. The not knowing. 😅 Especially when it comes to things that we want or need.
The fairy houses sounded pretty cool didn't they? 😂 I was kind of tempted myself. It would have been a nice distraction I think. We'd both get kicked out of story time 😁😂

This one is the most recent—- I hope you’ll appreciate it because you seem pretty handy. One of my aunts is redoing her deck and she has a little hot tub. She was explaining to me how they are doing a patio and got all kinds of furniture, with a deck going up & then it will lead to the top deck. So basically 3 tiers. Explaining how the hot tub doesn’t get “hot” anymore so they’re just turning it into a small pool to just sit in for her and her husband. So in the process, she’s ordering bark mulch, wood, tools, etc etc. telling me a story of how “they tried to deliver the sono tubes to the wrong house” I’m explaining the story to someone else and I ever so innocently “I guess she’s getting a sauna, she’ll have a sofa at her house now, so nice! She’s waiting on sono tubes” Their face, mouth dropped open, head down, bursted out in laughter. “Ummm I hate to tell you this because you sound so excited but sono tubes are to go next to the wood posts, it’s SAW-NO tubes “ 😂 “I thought they were the tubes to deliver heat to the sauna, guess there’s no sauna?” Hahahaha oh my gosh embarrassing but I learned something new and had a good laugh in the process!!!

@peachThinker662 As of last evening his vitals were good. He still has the breathing tube in and they started to wean him off some of the pain meds. They had run cultures and he has no bacteria. She's going to call this morning to see how he is and then she might go visit. I felt so bad for her last night because she said she really misses him. They're always together. Except for little bits of time (she goes to the store or he goes for lottery tickets) She asked if I was going out today and if I do.... could I pick up a few things for her. Which... of course. Even if I wasn't going out... if she needs something I would go get it for her. I told her to make a list ❤️ (as of now she didn't hear anything but is going up anyway) I'm making a casserole for her for later. Or she'll just eat a bowl of cereal 😐

I got out of the house for a few admissions. Then I stopped at the park to finish the paperwork piece. Had some ice cream after dinner. My current job—-the nurse I was in orientation with—-has quit. Her and I never spoke outside of orientation so it’s interesting to me. I was rubbed the wrong way yesterday, we had a meeting and someone brought up staff retention and how they’ve trained multiple nurses for them to leave. And the response was “some people just don’t have compassion and care, you can’t teach that” I had a few choice words during the zoom call on mute 🤣🤣 what a generalized statement. Don’t take any accountability for mistakes you’ve made as an organization. That’s it from the complaint department over here 🤭

I’ll share a nice story with you too ❤️ I don’t know if I told you but my niece is graduating high school this weekend. Such a an accomplishment given everything with her mom/my sister passing and all that occurred after. I stopped by my aunts house yesterday and we were chatting about doing something for my niece. (Now we know where she works❤️) And this big bold red cardinal just sat in the tree right next to us!!!!! Then, she text me today that she dreamt about my sister last night and today at lunch the cardinal was back for a visit 🥹❤️
All my patients canceled for tomorrow 😂 I thought I was going to get a free Friday but my manager is “putting together a telehealth assignment” for me. How nice of him 🤣🤣🤣 party pooper.

Everything was cooked before it went into the casserole dish. The easy part was baking it for 30 minutes. 😅 I think you're right about needing to be a chef

I GOT THE JOB !!!!!!!!!!!! Just waiting to hear back about the pay. They offered me pay of someone with less experience based off my resume. I explained to her that not all my jobs were listed on there. I tried to put most recent and ones applicable to what I was applying for. She understood. I sent an email of my jobs and the years. So hopefully I can get another $2/hr. Then it’s sign the dotted line for sure. It’s only a 10 minute drive. It was around 4 pm when I sent the email so I would expect an answer Monday 😊

I was able to find my nieces graduation online on YT. Awww my baby!!! I was to see her get her diploma. She graduated with honors. I cried watching it. She looks so much like her mom. I’m so proud of her. Angry at my sister for not being in her life. Grief and its 100000 emotions in one jar. Plus being happy. I cannot wait to see her tomorrow!!! I got her a Stanley. Going to put flowers in it, a card and some cash. I wish I could do more. So many birthdays and holidays were missed because of her dad. But I have to remember I’m auntie and don’t need to wear all the hats for everyone. ❤️
