Hey Pink 😃

Relationships are something that many people with Personality Disorders struggle with. You are most definitely not alone, and we are all here to support you, but it is important to remember you are capable of loving others 💖 You are just as much a human as everyone else is 😊

Not sure how much I agree with the entire consolation of "you're not alone" because it really isn't all that helpful or encouraging to be reminded of how others are also in such shitty places and that we all suck at this whole life thing. Every person's experiences are individual and relative to their own past and perceptionual lenses. Being told I'm not alone barely helps ease the brokenness I struggle with managing

Can we love? Yes. But for me, my love can be so strong that it's almost an obsession and an unhealthy one. I have to reel it in sometimes with my partner.

@LilFieryUnicorn see tahts how I used to feel and those relationships only ever lasted like 3 months tops But during the 2 serious relationships ive had lasting 2 years with my and almost 2 currently, after the hoenymoon I just wanna be aingle because its less exhausting and so I have more time to work on myself and i regret jumping with my current man because I cant just leave but Idk if I really want to be in any relationship at all anymore, not him specifically. He doesn't beliwve taht though and any hint he gets he freaks out immediately about all the things he must have done wrong

This is definitely where the concepts of splitting and idealization/devaluation ring true. I feel constantly torn between struggling to open up to trust and let people into my world versus the struggle of unhealthy overdependence on that individual as my point person when any thoughts rise. Certainly gets me into messy situations.

yes i totally understand what you are talking about! I can say, though, once you find the right person, friend or partner, you will see you are capable if it!

I have BPD (recently diagnosed in April, but have had these symptoms for probably 17 years) ... I have been with my husband for 9 of these years and we have been married for almost 1. It has NOT been easy for him. But acorrding to him the good days make up for the bad. I'm always concerned after having an episode that he'll leave me.... it's always at the back of my head. There is NO question in my mind that he doesn't love me. I know he does. However, I find the most difficult thing is loving myself.

Hi. I don't have borderline but I kind of am on a relationship with someone who does.

My beloved had a violent crisis this February and got institutionalized for 6 six months :/

He has a hard time assuming his bissexuality and I, by starting a relationship with him, probably help leading him to this last crisis.

I apparently was the only one able to deal with his disorder, even if I have depression myself. We kinda understood each other.

I just love him so much. Yes, you who got borderline can be loved, I assure you. We've been close friends for 5 years now and I love him now that I know his condition more then ever.

I just don't know what I should do about him when he comes back in September. I don't know what were symptons of his condition and what wasn't. I don't know how he feels and what he thinks. And I barely know borderline...

Could anyone recommend something to read about bordeline? Or would anyone be up to talking to me about your "walking throught" this condition?

I am specially intesrested in how you all fell about your sexuality and affection

I will be very relieve if someone could help. I've been suffering so much during these months and I can't even be sure I will be able to get back in touch with him after so long...

Stop Walking on Eggshells: Taking Your Life Back When Someone You Care About Has Borderline Personality Disorder by Paul Mason and Randi Kreger is very good. It has sold many copies so should be easy to get second hand or from a library

I forgot to give you a hug of support. So here it is

I am borderliney and have no issues with sexuality so I can't help there. But the sense of self is fragile in BPD so such people can have an issue about anything to do with self
