Everyone tells me that It's normal but I need to get this oof my chest
I'm 15 years old and I don't know what is wrong with me because my mood changes often (I feel happy, confident, sexy, have lots of energy, I want to do crazy things but then I'm angry, easily irritated or I can't do anything because I don't have any motivation, energy, I feel sad and that I'm not enough or I don't want to see anyone and times that I need to get my shit together and clean), I have really hard time concentrating, something is wrong with my memory because I can't remember things, I think a lot about what I did in the past or what I will do, really often feel like something is watching me or reading my mind, my mind is racing, I eat too much or too less and it's the same with sleep, there is times that I talk too fast or too slow, and I usually fight with my parents.if someone knows please tell me because I'm too scared to ask my parents for therapy or something like that because they don't believe and call me just lazy or dramatic...
I know that it's normal but I needed to get this off my chest 😅

Hi, thanks for sharing. You're finding your mood/identity changing a lot where sometimes you feel amazing and like you can do anything, while other times things feel really unpleasant in various way (e.g. anger, depression, difficulty concentrating, regretting past actions). You have people telling you that this is normal, but it still feels really distressing. You're interested in therapy, but you're afraid that if you talk to your parents about it they'll say something like, "There's nothing wrong with you. You're just lazy/dramatic." (That's frustrating. 🤦♂️)
Just wanted to say that your experiences definitely matter regardless of whether they are or aren't normal. If you're suffering, that matters. And it's unfortunate that therapy feels like it isn't a possible option since that can be helpful for anybody; it's not necessary to have a life-threatening mental illness to benefit from therapy.
If you're interested in talking with someone, HERE is a list of experienced 7 Cups listeners who accept 1-on-1 chats. If someone has a red dot next to their name, then they may take some time to respond or in some cases they might not respond.)
