Struggles of a Borderline Girl
Today I told most of my friends (or guess i should say people i currently like and will most likely and sadly stop talking to during one of my episodes) on the support room about my BPD, and suddenly i was interesting anymore, at least i felt like i wasnt paied attention to as much, and i know this is only my pov but it was almost like i was now old news, i took it as them having this perspective of "perfect" lucy, lucy is fun, lucy is hilarious, lucy is normal, but after i added lucy is borderline to the equation, it no longer fit the criteria of someone people usually deem as worthy of talking to and I think I atribute it to this sudden wave of society dehumanizing borderline people, like we're just a clump of emotions all mixed together, like we're tangled shoelaces and u have to untangle us to get to who we are as people ( "careful, here comes tangled girl, everyone run!"), because thats who we are, people, we have feelings, we have family, we have friends, we have pets , we have careers, etc, we are still people just like everyone else, wish the world would see that more often.

Being a person who is different than others is a real challenge..
They will stigmatize us and not try to see the real person under the mask
Thank you for sticking up for all of us different types of people..!🌲

Hi there 💜 Sorry that people started acting differently once you shared more about yourself that didn't fit into the "perfect Lucy" persona.
Personally I've met a lot of people with BPD on this site and some of them are among the most thoughtful, compassionate, interesting people that I've ever met. (And then of course like you've said, everybody still has their own daily life and is trying to do normal things irrespective of whatever diagnoses or other experiences they might have going on.)
I wonder if you've ever had people in your life before that you've been able to talk to about the BPD stuff and they've been interested or known how to handle it?
Just passing along a link with some resources (e.g. self-help stuff, how to find listeners on 7 Cups who accept chats on BPD, etc.) in case if you haven't stumbled across it yet:
