What would you say back to your BPD?
What would you like to say to your BPD?
Forum Hunt Letter: E
Hint #5: How to stop thinking (self-harm)
You and I have been joined at the hip for over 35 years, we've done our time together, it is time to say goodbye.
"I'd like to abandon YOU, BPD. See how you feel then! Ha." (Yeah, I think I'm just a little mad at the BPD right now.) ~ Platy
@cyanPlatypus6370
Giving BPD a taste of it's own medicine, eh? It's okay to be mad at BPD. BPD can be incredibly awful!
@InvaderStitch ... Exactly! and I agree. and Thank you :) Good night dear Stitch <3 Platy
you and your symptoms don't define me or my worth as a person!
Dear BPD.
As much as I would love to spit everything wrong in my life that has happened because of you, I have to admit. There is a few positive things you've done to me. You made me grow as a person. Without you, I'd be another shallow teenage girl. You taught me a lesson, in a really hurtful and intense way. But you did it. You made me explore the deepest and most hidden parts of my mind that I wouldn't be aware of if it wasn't for you. Without you I wouldn't be able to explore what it's like to feel happy. Intensely happy. So keen and excited about the smallest parts of my life that make living worth it to me.
You've made me hurt. You've made me hurt in such profound, elaborate ways. You have ruined my life. You've made me beg for death when I was supposed to live my life at it's fullest. You've made me lose people that were the closest and dearest to me. Remember that time when I was so in love, and full of life, and you ruined everything just with one thought? Because I do. And I think about it everyday. Remember that time when I finally felt like I had good, supportive friends that actually loved me and you ruined everything just with a few words? I do.
I remember everything you've done to me. And I'll never be able to forget. But you're someone I'll have to live with for the rest of my life. Forever hijacking my thoughts and emotions.
But I'll find ways to defeat you once. I promise you that.

As I first join 7cups and saw Borderline personality disorder support community, I became solemn to know my closest friend
I'm very grateful to join this community,
He has help me grow to who I am, the true self of me, it's so meaningful to me, even despite trying to show my compassion because I believe in myself we are friends with our own individuality
Annanas as I read your writing, it made me go in tears. The genuine side of my friend
@limePapaya3221
We live with it for the rest of our lives. Might as well learn to accept for it's good side despite all the wrong it does to us
@Annanas ❣🙏
I felt this to the core my being
Leave me alone
I want to set you (BDP) on fire and watch you dance the way you make me dance everyday a d when there's nothing left but Ash I want it compressed down into a diamond so I can wear you because that's all you're good for.
I would tell it to go FUCK ITSELF and leave me alone
I would say, 'I hate you."
To my BPD,
What are you doing to me? I don't understand. You constantly tell me that I am worthless, and I am nothing but a burden. I have lost of my friends because of your constant need for attention. When you don't get attention, you get upset and make me feel absolutely miserable. I've never been able to keep a close friend for longer than two years because of you. Why must you push everyone away? No one wants to talk to me anymore. No one wants to be a friend. Because of you. Please leave me alone. Ill let you be the explanation for my behavior, but never an excuse. I must admit, though, even if you have caused me so much pain, you helped teach me how to better react to situations by making me live through the worst possible outcome. I think I have learned enough now, so I will now work to tell you, goodbye.
