I was recently diagnosed with BPD after being diagnosed with BP2 for months. Im not sure how to feel about it but it explains everything from my relationship struggles(keeping partners and dealing with family), to stress of life and school(uni). If anyone with this same diagnosis has any advice id gladly take it as well as any other people who may have some.

It makes sense you're feeling a bit overwhelmed when getting a new diagnosis. On the other hand, I can see how validating it might feel to finally understand some of the struggles you've faced in your own life and be able to identify a cause for them. I can also see how this new insight has the potential to get the support you need and the relief you deserve. I encourage you to stay hopeful as you navigate this new journey of healing for yourself. Take care and best of luck to you!

Hey, that sounds pretty helpful to now be equipped with a diagnosis that better explains the totality of what's been happening (e.g. not just the mood swings but also the relational stuff).

I wonder if you've gone looking for any self-help resources or other info related to BPD? There are some ideas here:

Hi! I started my recovery in February and it’s not July. I’ve been doing so much better with a lot of wanting to heal on my part and seeing a therapist, researching DBT , workbooks, reading, audio books, journaling! It will get better
