How have you been feeling lately?
Lately I’ve been feeling pretty well. Like a 7/10 most days which is good in my books aha.
What's something you're currently working on?
I am working on not holding in my emotions and letting my self feel my emotions when I need to.
Hello. Is knowing that your someone famous that's going to change the world, considered a personality disorder?
@JerelM
Hi there! I'm not a licensed mental health professional who has the power to confidently put people into diagnostic buckets. 😊 But I'd say that just that one trait by itself probably wouldn't be enough for someone to be diagnosed with a personality disorder unless if there are other things going on.
Some thoughts:
1) It's possible that someone could just have a lot of confidence in themselves and believe strongly in their abilities. It's difficult in a vacuum to say whether that's unrealistic/unhelpful. Lots of athletes, entrepreneurs, etc. have a mindset of "I'm going to be the best in the world". Some people get there and other people get very close as a result of believing in themselves and having ambitious goals.
2) Along similar lines, usually for mental health conditions in general, one of the criteria is that it has to be something that causes suffering or makes daily life more difficult in some way.
3) Even if that belief of "I'm going to be someone very important" turned out to be false or inflated, that alone wouldn't necessarily map neatly onto a personality disorder. The nearest neighbor that comes to mind is that people with narcissistic personality disorder can have an inflated sense of self, but there are also usually other emotional/interpersonal factors there alongside that belief.

How have you been feeling lately?
very sick we been sick last few days kinda down about it due to it Easter weekend. we did not go to good friend service that we had planed to go too. then we was going to go to movies and eat out with club. but we did not go as not want others to get sick. we hoping we be able to go to church in morning. but will depend on how we feel. so feeling awful and down some too.
What's something you're currently working on?
we working on chancing though patterns that have been wired into how we think by our abusers and others. ones that tell us we should just go and well never come back. other ones telling us we stupid and always will be. many other ones too so we been working on chancing them to not believe lies said to us
@stormieandpaws
Aw, sorry about the illness. 🙁 That's kind of gross that it intersects with a time where you'd normally be wanting to be going to church services, spending time with other people, etc. But I'm sure Jesus would approve of the conscientiousness of wanting to protect others from getting sick. 👍 Hope you feel better soon.
Those patterns sound tricky. How do you go about counteracting those?
@QuietMagic
thank you we still sick so going to walkin clinic today when they open as had this since last Thursday so time to go in see what going on think due to our weather bouncing so much from cold to warm back to cold
so weather we think what did this and think might be in lungs now as we have asthma too
