you ask questions that are never straightforward in the replying,
The emotions cause by such cognitive thoughts as to the week , best left out of mind.
just wanted to say hi though and I appreciate all you do for this community and the effort on your part. Thank you.
how has your week been?
@LabeledBPD
Hi, thank you! Thinking about the discussion questions... I guess the usual questions are along the lines of "share about things happening in your life lately". And maybe an easier approach would be either a casual/icebreaker-type question or "what are your thoughts on this deep/interesting question that isn't directly connected to your everyday life"?
Would be curious what you/other people think. Maybe you're not the only person who sees this thread each week and is put off by the questions. I doubt I'd respond to this check-in thread if the situation were flipped, but I'm not sure how to improve upon it.
My week has been fine. I've been loosening a lot of my usual habits around sleep/exercise, so I feel a bit off physically. But it felt like something I wanted to try, I accept the results, and I expect things to swing back in the other direction eventually.
A universally good question for the space you keep alive is as difficult as landing on the moon.
steering towards the positive aspects of one’s week regardless how small I think will help spirals.
Keeping one’s mind away from the thoughts that drag it down , is helpful but again not always something people can answer.
A very balanced approach to your week, trying something and accepting the results. Why do you want to try the relaxation of exercise and sleep?
a question like, can you identify any ways or skills you can work on that would potentially help you going forward this week?
We don’t do well dwelling in the thoughts that create the sadness that a week can bring
@LabeledBPD
Thanks, that makes sense. Sort of like it's helpful to specifically identify or look for positive things, whether that's experiences or potential actions that can be taken.
The exercise/sleep thing for me is complicated, but I'd say the simplest explanation I can give is that I was pretty disciplined for a while and got a bit burned out on controlling everything.

How has your week been?
our week been good. getting home aid back is wonderful. she more then a home aid to us she a friend too. we been able to do more this week we3 feeling better. so that helped a lot too. we still have the cough, but it mostly at night now not all the time.
What's something that feels energizing or motivating right now?
for us it just well feeling better and being able to do more then we have for a few weeks. we working on getting clutter out of apartment and making it look better too. but also feeling less manic this week. so that better too. we not depressed either kinda just well more balanced within mood.
@stormieandpaws
Oh nice, you got the home aid back! Glad that you're feeling better physically too--and sounds like that's allowed you to circle back to doing things you've wanted to do but haven't been able to for a few weeks.
@QuietMagic
yes it been helpful feeling better physically and having home aid back helpful too. today was able to go food shopping. she did some of our laundry' too. we was starting to run out of some things we needed too. so all that was great to get done. over the weekend we got the new daybed together too. but now have a mess to clean up. due to having to move stuff around.
hope you doing well
