It was November 13th, to most people an ordinary day, but to Lizzie it was a day like no other. It was her Birthday!
She woke to the not-so-peaceful sound of busy cars zooming down the nearby highway, honking at each other eager to get home from work to see their families. For a moment Lizzie groaned and flopped over onto her stomach, but her eyes quickly shot open as she remembered that it was her favorite day of the year.
She got up and stretched quickly making her way to her kitchen not even bothering to change. She lived alone and she loved it. She moved out as quickly as she could, only being 18 and she already had a pretty decently sized apartment all to herself. Her birthday luckily landed on the day she had off so she had the whole day to do whatever.
She made herself pancakes and put practically half the bottle of whipped cream onto of them. After eating she went back to her room, getting ready to do one of her favorite things - help people on 7Cups.
Lizzie logged onto her computer and checked for general requests. She decided she was going to give herself most of the day and not spend to long on the app.
After helping 2 people successfully she got an email. She opened it and saw a cryptic link was sent by scorpioinvites@gmail.org. There was nothing else in the email besides the link. She assumed it was spam and quickly deleted.
Part two coming under(don't judge me for making this so long!)
Lizzie logged off of her computer keeping her promise to not spend all day on it, as she often did.
She powered it off and got dressed into skinny jeans and a cute fall sweater. Right after she got dressed her computer turned back on by herself and a chilling *ding* sounded through it. She quickly turned around and low and behold she had gotten another email.
She slowly walked up to it and clicked it open. It was yet again another ominous link sent by the same email.
She sighed quickly before making the very stupid choice of opening the link. An eerie looking website loaded up and there was a message that read,
Lizzie Rolling,
Welcome, we are so glad you decided to join our group. We will be meeting up at 2:30 EST pm to have a group meeting. Come to the alley way on 123 Whatever St, there will be a staircase descending into our meeting space. COME ALONE! If you do not come, bring anyone else, or call the authorities there will be consequences.
Thank you, Scorpio Clan
Lizzie quickly panicked wondering how they knew her name. 123 Whatever St was only about five minutes away from her house. She contemplated going but was way to scared of the 'consequences' to decline.
She looked at her watch and saw that it was already 12:30. She had nothing to really do that day anyways and was getting a little bored so she decided to just go.
Part 3 belowww(ik this is getting long, I'm sorry but I'm really having fun with writing this)
After taking a shower and changing back into her sweater and jeans she set off, first wanting to go to the cafe before heading to her inevitable doom. She was frightened.
She arrived at the cafe and ordered a flat white coffee with a blueberry muffin. She enjoyed her meal while scrolling through social media, occasionally replying to comments wishing her a happy birthday.
When she was finished she paid before checking the time, it was 2:10.
She set off in the direction of 123 Whatever St. When arriving to the mysterious ally way she sucked in a huge breath, a feeling of nervousness filling her lungs.
She quietly speed walked down the ally, slowing when she saw the stair case that looked like nothing but a black hole.
In that moment she contemplated just going home, but remembered the part about the consequences and did not want to know what they were.
She very slowly walked down trying to make as little noise as possible. And when she got to the bottom and there was nothing but darkness she let out a breath of relief thinking that this was just a prank when-
"SURPRISE"
Lights suddenly flashed on and party poppers were popped. Lizzie jumped so hard at the scene that she almost fell over.
All of her friends and family were gathered around. There was marble cake, balloons, and party games too. Suddenly her favorite song, Hold Me While You Wait started playing.
And they partied all night,
It was by far Lizzie's best birthday yet.

July 7. In a room full of blue and yellow balloons, family, friends and relatives, she is being surrounded by all her loved ones on a very special day. Yellow swirls of icing atop a creamy mass of white. Golden pieces of mango sitting daintily upon its throne of white and gold. The chocolate swirl of writing, showing her heavenly name. Angelique. Who would have thought that a birthday treat could look so good?
The utensil heavy in her hand, she carefully manoeuvres it around the cake, searching for the best spot to cut in to. Slowly, gently, carefully placing it down into the soft centre. The cake gives way with ease, showing more and more of its wondrous insides. The insides are more colourful than the outside shows with its golden yellow and snow whites.
Blowing out the candles, she thinks of her 7 Cups journey this far and thanks every individual she has met on there over the years. She gives thanks to the precious memories shes built, the connections shes made and wishes for more peace and love.
After the cheering and cake cutting, she lifts one piece of her favourite cake into the air, her every sensation is tickling with glee. The aroma of mango mixes with the aroma of happiness mingling in the air. As everyone watches her with excitement and joy, she feels so special.
Drop. Her mouth closes around it, the taste already seeping into her every pore. The sweet, sweet taste of mango and cheesecake. The contrast in texture from the gooey mango to the crumbling cheesecake, she savours its every moment.
The bliss that fills her already full heart is unbelievable. The warmth of the sweetness hugging her insides. The sweet melody of her favourite song Counting Stars, among with the smiles and cheers from family and friends all make her feel her world is finally whole. This day, she never wants to end.

Thank you ❤️ I'm much better at long stories I've been told, but I'm personally pretty proud of this very short story!

It was Elizabeth's birthday in may 4th. She was excited because her birth month was arriving and she was planning to celebrate it with her friends. She was going to get balloons, and play her favorite song (party rock). She was going to order a caramel cake, her favorite cake. She wanted to celebrate her birthday with 7 cups.
(I know it's short, can't make it longer since I'm studying, oops!)
She was brought home all wrapped up nicely in a pink bow, a blanket, and helium balloons, at the doorstep of a plain brown brick house, number 162. It was early morning, and it was already obvious it would be a hot day today, as were most days in her birth month of July. Each year this special day of her birthday came and went uneventfully and unmemorably. She barely even knew she was missing out on such fun. Five years later, and she was ready to start her first day of kindergarten. She had to carefully document her favorite food, color, song, animal and flower, for her teachers to get to know her better. She painstakingly wrote in her neatest handwriting: lemon strawberry cake... Pink... Baby shark... Giraffe... Rose.... she was a good student. Fast forward thirteen years later and life was catching up quick. Things weren't so perfect as they were back when she was five or eight or eleven. Life developed complexities and she struggled to keep up. She wondered why things were the way they were. On one eventful day, on her birthday, she decided it was time for something to change. She looked back on the past 18 years of her life and decided that on this day she would celebrate the past birthday partyless years with her 7 friends. They baked a lemon strawberry cake with pink frosting and fondant roses. They sang Happy birthday and baby shark and threw lots of confetti. And of course, they prepared 7 cups of coffee for each one of the friends. She was happy and content now, satisfied that she had gotten the opportunity to finally celebrate this day in the most awesome way possible.
My story making sucks so Im not gonna try haha, but still nice icebreaker!

It was in March, probably my third or fourth birthday. Of course I only remember bits and pieces. My uncle built me a hat with balloons, as well as a giraffe – or was it just supposed to be a dog with a long neck...? The memories are all so faded, thankfully pictures are filling them up here and there.
Im blowing my candles on this one –looks like I was three then! – and were all eating apple pie on this other one. Were at my grandparents place. I can almost hear Carmen that my grandfather loves so much playing with him humming along it, and smell the tobacco that hes smoking in his pipe.
My dad is here too, holding me and keeping my makeshift hat in place as Im tossing and turning. Hes always been so patient, caring, understanding and Ive always admired him for that. Now that Im a listener on 7Cups Im grateful that he inspired me to learn and stick to these values.
My grandmother is on this picture, shes offering me that white teddy bear that followed me for years, until it got too torn up. I still have it stored preciously in a cupboard though, I never figured out what animal it was but it was still my favourite.
Pictures, memories, objects, its crazy how much emotional value they can all hold!
Lol thats nowhere near creative but thats all I could come up with, Im no writer! Thanks @rebecca947 for tagging me !
lol too lazy to write an story, but i'll be reading all stories it's fun
