thank you so much, if I had of known about this site ages ago I would of been here sooner, my friends say I'm good at listening so I want to transfer that over with others.
I am going through a tough phase - the kind where everything that can go wrong does all at once. I went through a lot of workplace stress for 4 years. I kept fighting it and kept taking the next set of steps until one day where I found it was too much and I can't practically keep on doing it forever. I am a high skilled foreign worker and I decided to leave my high paying job and everything I worked so hard for behind and return home on a short notice. I was devastated when I experienced toxicity on a daily basis at home. I felt cornered, crushed, helpless and breathless. I decided to come back again. I am now starting from scratch without my toxic family and almost no friends.
I am seeking encouragement, compassion, positivity, kindness, sense of belonging, to be part of a group, resources to help nurture myself so that I can start fighting that stress on a daily basis and achieve my challenging goals, and all things good.
I think connecting with people who've had similar experiences, trading stories, periodic check-ins and continuing conversations would help me the most.

@ts443 I crossed the United States and back looking for work, connected with a friend much younger than I because she was being hurt, and when I tried to help her I was thrown out by my family and left to fend for myself by friends. We were homeless from June until the middle of August while I continued to look for work. I feel your pain on a different level and I would like to ask what you've done to connect with someone after your experience? The friend that I helped turned out to be bad news and now I am all alone working with no idea why. How are you coping and I would love to hear more of your story. If you don't mind.

Hi everyone. I’m hoping being here can help me discover the best way to go about a certain dilemma I’ve been having.
My boyfriend lives 5 hours from me, in a different state. We see each other about every other weekend. He is an amazing man, but unfortunately he suffers from moderate to severe alcoholism, anxiety, and mood disorders - anxiety being the only thing that’s even been remotely addressed by a bottle of pills that don’t do a darn thing for him. We are struggling to survive his erratic behaviors. I am really at a loss as to what to do sometimes and just need a good group or person to talk to when situations get unmanageable. Thank you!
