Hello everyone! Welcome to our FIRST team meeting of the year!! WOOOHOOOO!!! I do hope everyone is doing well. I have to admit we have not had many team meetings - but that is changing
Team meetings allow us to:
- Communicate
- Learn what everyone is doing
- See if anyone has ideas for the team or community
- Team strengthening
- Team Building
So for this meeting we are gonna talk on these topics:
- Check in with each other on how you are doing
- See on activity on team
- Gather ideas on how we can empower each other
- Gather ideas on how we can support the community better
- See who is on the team or not
Communication
When we communicate to each other and the team leader it not only let's us know what's going on with each other but also enriches relationships. When we do not communicate with each other we work poorly. Or some feel they need to work extra hard. Also it's nice to hear from each other and to share team ideas. Also we lift each other up and encourage each other. My pm's are always open to each one of you.
Team Activity
One this team it is very important that we work together. The team requirements are to spend 1 hour a week approving/rejecting the answers to questions. This is so important as the community does wait for their questions and answers they done to be approved. Each one of us knows how the answers can pile up in just a few days. So I ask each one of you to please do your 1 hour a week. If you can not just pm me and we can chat. To those who do this weekly and more I so appreciate this commitment you do for the community!
Gather ideas on how we can empower each other
Each one of you has some great ideas. Please do share them. This enriches the team as well is helpful to the community. As we are open to change and improvements! So please any timeyou have an idea please pm me and we can chat.
Who is active on the team?
This is very important to any team. Especailly ours. Each month I do stats on what each of us does monthly. You all can see it on the dashboard when you log on. Also we are connected to google. So we as a team need to make sure we do our 1 hour weekly. Also please self care is very important. I always share this through training and on. Just pm me to let me know you need a break. Letting you know our team goes to 30 days self care break. Then please do pm me and let me know if you are back or need a bit more time.

HI Time I do not have you on this team.
I'm still on self care. Sorting out all my other illnesses, meds, etc. with all these tumours is difficult. I don't even have my diagnosis yet.

I feel like I am doing well with being able to spend at least an hour a week approving/rejecting responses. In general, I am doing well and getting ready to head back to school, I graduate with two bachelors degrees in June!
2. Do you have any ideas that we can add on to the team to give the best to our community?
I think it might be a cool thing if we all wrote a little about ourselves and then we all try to learn a little about one another on the team. I see that there are about 10-11 people on the team so I think that is a reasonable number to just try to learn a little about each other, even just a couple fun facts. Might help strengthen the community feel.

I do like the idea on getting to know each other. We can create it in our QandA area. If you like to help me do this please pm me. Thank you for letting me know you are active on the team. Thank you Brit for attending the team meeting. It's good to hear you are doing good. Thank you for letting me know you are active on the team. So once a month have some sort of team connection. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts

I am still waiting on some badges after training, it has been a while.

I've suggested making it easier to do move categories. I haven't seen any changes to the form I put in multiple times for one area.

I don't really know the status of many things. Badges, the 'moderated by' still hasn't been fully explained. Moving Q&As to different categories - will this be opened up eventually? I see some of the expert approved posts as ones that actually shouldn't have even been approved - why is this happening?

I'm surprised to hear you're doing this during the holiday period and requiring this before Christmas is over, many people are busy, away, etc.
@AffyAvo hi thank you for sharing more for this meeting. What badges did I forget. Oh wait I believe it is the editing one where you can edit the questions. Due to the tech flaw when they made it, having the badge also let you edit onsite which only I do. I will check in with admin and tech on this. Affy I have already did 2 moves of things. Later on today I will look into this. Yes thank you for sharing with me you are on break. I do hope you are back on the team by the end of this month. I like the once a month team check in or the bi-monthly team building skills. Well the badges for the teams the info is out there. I do know the one you want was put on hold to everyone due to a mistake in it. I have not heard nothing back on this either. The therapists who do the questions I do not know nothing on this as this was an admin decision. I will email who I need to so they can write out what and how this works with them.

I put in the request shortly after the form was available. I don't understand why this capability can't be given to more on the team.
@AffyAvo thank you for sharing this with me. Today I will look at my google sheet and MAKE SURE these were moved if they need to be.
Also some badges are not for team mates on this team. Admin and I discussed some behaviors were done and inflicting the community. So as a leader for this team I need to make sure the community feels safe in what they share and not ever be judged. But you can always edit the answers to questions or stay just approving/rejecting the answers to questions.
@RumpleSteeleSkin I actually can't edit the answers, I've been waiting for that capability for months.
@AffyAvo right. As they made a mistake doing that badge ad gave people the ability to edit onsite as well. So that one is on hold. I have not heard from no one yet. I am anxiously waiting as you are.

Taking the role of listeners through forums and socialize with eachother.

I have an exam next week, and I didn't go to work this morning as I feel that I have no energy and I want to sleep and eat all time. I am very worry and afraid to get fired from my job, fail in my exam and be fat.
