Holiday Paws! (Submissions Closed)
Hi all!
I am so excited to announce this event. Most of our community is an animal/pet lover community, so it is only fitting that we host the official 7cups Pet Show: Holiday Paws!
How will it work?
You will submit photographs of your pets or of any pets that you know under various categories.
Submissions will be open from now until December 23rd at 11:59 pm EST.
A voting form will be shared on the 24th of December at 1:00 pm EST to vote for each winner of each category.
Winners will be announced on December 30th.
Everyone who enters their pets into the show will receive the Winter Events badge.
Anyone that wins their category will receive the GlitterStar badge.
The categories will be:
The pet with the most appealing eyes
The pet that is best at helping us to cope
The pet with the best fancy dress
The pet that would make the best 7 Cups mascot
The pet that the judge most wants to take home
All submissions will also be entered into the category of the best pet overall
What are the rules?
When selecting an image-sharing program, please make sure that it does not share any personal information.
Only one submission per category - though you can enter as many categories as you wish.
All pets are welcome including pet rocks!
Please use only pictures of pets that you own or know. (no google images, etc.)
How do I get started?
Please post all your submissions into the relevant category/(ies) post(s) you are entering your pets into below this post. It would also be great if you could give a little background information on your pet.
Adding Pictures
Step 1: Find a picture you want! If you want to upload a screenshot, you can put it on imgur.com or any other photo sharing app and get the link from there.
Step 2: Start making forum post! You can do this on app or browser
Step 3: Click the picture icon on the top bar (just above the text box) when you click reply on this thread.
Step 4: Add the picture you want! Make sure the link ends with a file name (such as .png .gif. img .jpeg etc). For Imgur, if you copy the wrong link you can just add .png at the end. If you've got the link from google images, you can get the right link by clicking "view image" (the link will then be at the top of the page).

I'm not sure if a Santa hat on a gecko counts as "fancy dress" but that't the name of the category so we will go with it 😀
Yoshi is my smol baby. She is a little sassy but we love her anyways- she didn't love the Santa hat tho 👀. She is super chill and even tho I thought she would be the easiest pet to care for she made it clear that I was wrong in assuming that 😛 She may be super small she has a huge personality and has honestly been what has gotten me thru some pretty terrible situations and I love her so much💙

This is Zelda she was about 5 months old here (now she’s a year old) I rescued her from being dumped at the shelter. She has been an amazing companion for me as I do have autism and an array of mental health issues, however with this cat I have been able to make great strides in all aspects of my life and has helped me become more confident and social. She is my biggest reason to keep living <3

This is my friend Kookie. He is 3 years old, very friendly cat. He likes to be free and doesn't want to be a pet. So he comes to play, eat and loves to cuddle. I love him and respect his freedom.

Well, I have 3 fish at the moment(4, but one of them gave birth, and I had to send her to my uncle's house, where she'll receive better care)

all of my fish always help me cope with stress, just tending to them helps me let go of everything. They have helped me out a lot.

This is my sweet boy. He helps me cope every single day, I couldn't not have him. He is one of the only reasons I'm still alive. I'm hoping to get him registered as an ESA eventually. He was abandoned by his previous owners and I'll never understand why because he is literally the sweetest cat and I'm so thankful and grateful I ended up with him.
He also has the prettiest eyes. It was the first thing I noticed about him. He is also just so snuggly and he always knows when something is wrong and how to make me feel better. I really am so glad I could be his owner, its probably the best thing that's happened to me❤️
@CheeryMango most appealing eyes. This is arthur. He has 2 diffrent colour eyes. He has been rescued from neglect and is now living a happy life. He loves going on rides at the beach but is afraid of dogs.
