Leadership Spotlight: EmmaE

Emma joined the Cups family at the end of 2020 and since has been a strong and reliable contributor to many roles. She is currently the CML of the Depression Support subcommunity.

​​Why did you nominate Emma?

They handle the listener hosting teams very efficiently and are a very compassionate leader, I really admire their kindness and spirit. They also made a whole lot of informative and/or supportive posts in the Depression Support Subcommunity, so I'm nominating them to appreciate them for all of these things they do. One big thank you to you for doing so much, being so hardworking, and helping everyone. You're one of the sweetest people I know, and keep shining!!

2. Your proudest 7 cups achievement

My proudest 7 Cups achievement is truly being able to make an impact on those I get the opportunity to come into contact with. whether that be members or listeners, being able to hopefully leave those a little happier than they came is what keeps me going. I feel soo lucky that I’m able to have various roles in our incredible 7 Cups community that allow me to do just that and meet so many amazing people all over the world.

3. A fun fact about you

I'm a ski instructor! One of the pros of living in Canada is getting to ski every winter and I love teaching others to do the same.

4. If you had one piece of advice for our community leaders/listeners/members/whoever), what would it be?

If I had one piece of advice for our community, it would be to believe in yourself. Every single one of us, no matter who we are or where we come from, has the strength and power to succeed in whatever we put our minds to! No matter where we are in our journeys, believing in ourselves can go such a long way.
